Local Hitchin resident and businessman SimonMichell is set to open an innovative ‘Auto Lounge’ concept in Hitchin next week.

That’s the rationale for The Car Agents’ Auto Lounge, a pioneering concept that’s about to be launched in Hitchin by local entrepreneur Simon Michell.

Simon has more than 20 years’ experience in the specialist prestige and sports car marketplace, including as the Sales Director of one of the most successful BMW dealerships in the country. “Buying and selling prestige cars doesn’t have to be carried out in a huge, glass-fronted showroom with zero personality,” he said. “What I’m offering is something completely different.

“My approach is based on building personal and long-lasting customer relationships rooted in mutual trust and exceptional levels of service. Essentially, I’d like to bring the ‘community garage’ back to the high street.

“That’s why I’ve decided to open our very first Auto Lounge right in the heart of Hitchin, rather than on an industrial estate at the edge of town. Our Brand Street premises will offer a stylish, comfortable and relaxed environment where people can discuss in confidence their plans for buying or selling a prestige or sports car.”

Simon’s honest, straightforward and transparent approach to running a business has earned him an enviable reputation as someone who can be relied upon to get the job done.
