Ladies Day - an excuse for everyone to watch non-league football on our home turf

Hitchin Town Football Club is proud of the increasing numbers of women at their games and Saturday 16 March 2013 will be their latest Ladies Day, for a 3pm kick-off against Bideford. And it's free for women!

Top Field welcomes everyone and the more of us who manage to get along, the more likely it is that we will keep this valuable resource in the heart of our community.

But the game is not just for girls - bring your whole family and see what the club has to offer.

In 2010, 18% of the crowd on Ladies Day was female. That rose to 23% in 2012 and the club is hoping for an even better response in 2013.

Read a really good article on the HTFC website about why more women are needed in non-league football: http://www.hitchintownfc.co.uk/articles/weekly_articles/20130311402408304963.shtml
