Strathmore Infant and Nursery School and William Ransom Primary School recently benefitted to the tune of nearly £1,500 from two classical music concerts, one aimed at school-age children, on 4th May.
The fundraising events were organised by Michael Leaver and Iain Farrington both nationally renowned, professional musicians with children at the two schools.
The sell-out children’s concert at Christ Church in Hitchin was followed by a more sedate yet well-attended evening event held at St Mary’s Church in the town.
