A volunteer 'Event and Fundraising group' has been set up to develop and strengthen the activities of the Hitchin Initiative and raise some money to go towards the Christmas Lights Appeal. Lots of events are planned for the year in Hitchin so watch this space!

In keeping with the mood of national rejoicing, the Hitchin Initiative Fundraising Group thought we would have a Royal Wedding Window/Business Frontage Competition.
Decorate your shop or business for the Royal Wedding and get someone to nominate you or self nominate and the judges will come round the week before and award prizes.
Judges will be strictly non-partisan & from out of town.
