The 21 page report is worth a read, with some interesting feedback on which areas of the town are most visited and what types of businesses residents would like to see (those being childrens and mens clothes shops). The least visited road in Hitchin is Bridge Street.
An interesting statistic is that 58% of respondents think that we need more specialist food and drink shops and 18% think there should be more pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes.

It will be interesting to see if Town Centre Management are able to use the survey results and what can/will be done as a result especially with the Hitchin BID up for review.
