It was "do you want cranberry sauce with that" at the Westmill Community Centre last Saturday where members of The Rotary Club of Hitchin Tilehouse were helping out at the Hitchin Helping Hands Annual General Meeting.  This fantastic local charity, headed by Joan Kirby, provides transport for the elderly and those with disabilities allowing them to be part of the community and continue to enjoy a level of independence.  Tilehouse members helped set-up and waited tables for Hitchin Helping Hands clients.  "This is the second year we've done this" explained Tilehouse member and Head of Community Activities Andrew Phillips, "We have a lot fun while providing some practical help for Hitchin Helping hands."

And Tilehouse's help wasn't confined to the dining hall, in the kitchen long-term Tilehouse member Liz Willoughby acted as Assistant Cook helping Head Cook Sue Williams prepare a 3 course roast turkey meal for 80.
