Our impressive array of talent completes Hitchin Festival this weekend. If you click on www.hitchin-festival.co.uk you can see everything you've missed in the last few weeks. More importantly, you can see the range of performances and activities that you can take part in before the close on Sunday.

Last night's delightful evening at Hermitage Road was hosted by Hitchin Initiative and featured music from the 60s and 70s from a group of musicians who are barely out of their teens. Savoy Truffle is an amalgam of two local bands - The Vinyl Junkies and RoadRunner - and features Alex Bay – Vocals, harmonica, percussion; Tom Peel – Guitar; Dave Nicholas – Keyboards, Vocals; Jamie Thomas – Bass; Alex Gatt – Drums, vocals. The audience was largely older than the band, but that didn't stop the dance floor being packed by the end of the night.

So, if you want comedy, jazz, original rock/pop, a walk through lavender fields or a quix night, check out what's on for the rest of the week.
