The Copper Beech gallery has launched a charity appeal in aid of the Lister Hospital baby unit.

Fran from the gallery said: "We would like amateur and professional artists alike of all ages to create a 6x6 inch deep edge canvas in any medium or style.

"We would then like you to post it on Facebook and share it along with this appeal.

"Send the canvas to us at the gallery where we will display and then sell them. All proceeds will go to the Lister Hospital baby unit. Please help us to raise as much money as we can."

The first canvas entered is by one of the gallery's resident artists, Cathy Smale.

Don't forget to send it to the gallery to be displayed and sold!
