One of the great benefits of networking is the potential to find partners for joint ventures. A new health and style initiative called 'Embrace Your Self' is a perfect example.
Sarah May Stubbins, nutritionist and member of the WIBN group in Stevenage, heard that Caroline Ferguson, a psychotherapist from the Sandy group, had a strong interest in working with women who are unhappy with their bodies. The two got together for coffee and within half an hour they were asking each other, "what can we do together?"
Sarah mentioned that she'd recently met Julie Dennis, a fitness coach from the Hitchin WIBN group, and Becky Redpath, a personal stylist. The foursome got together for the first time in April this year and by the end of the meeting, the Embrace Your Self day was born.
Taking place on 27th June in the stunning setting of Hanbury Manor near Ware, this luxury health & personal style event will feature workshops by each of the four plus a delicious healthy lunch, goody bags, a raffle and exhibitors.
"We were all completely on the same page about wanting to make a difference to women's lives," explains Sarah. Caroline added "We were also unanimous that Embrace Your Self should be about luxury and indulgence, as well as learning and inspiration." Julie summed it up for all of them: "Embrace Your Self is going to help a lot of women look and feel fabulous. Without WIBN, this collaboration would never have happened".
