Set up 8 years ago to help raise funds for local, national and international charities the Hitchin Wine and Food Festival has grown each year. This year we are delighted to welcome Celebrity Chef Andrew Turner as Patron.
Chef Andrew Turner has been Hitchin based for over 50 years. Andrew has supported Rotary for years and was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship award for his services to the local culinary and school community. "I am delighted to be the patron of this year's food and wine event and it promises to be the best ever. I encourage you to come and support this fabulous local event and I look forward to seeing you on the day"
Andrew is looking forward to structuring and being involved with the 2017 Young Chef competition.

Tickets cost £6 and you can gain entry from 11am - 6pm. Re-admittance is allowed. On the day you can sample wines from all over the world and this year we also have Puddingstone Gin Distillery.
Our friends from The Wine Education Company will also be at the wine festival giving 10 minute wine school talks and will give you the fundamentals of wine in a precise and condensed format.
