Does your firework and bonfire night go with a bang or is it a bit of a fizzle?

I've often wondered if or indeed when, does the sparkle (excuse the pun) go out of bonfire night?

As children it's something we really look forward to.  Sparklers, fireworks at an organised display or in the back garden.  Then as you grow up, it's sort of romantic to go there with your boyfriend/girlfriend, holding hands in the dark and writing each others names in sparkler lights.  Then the cycle begins again when you have children and the joy of the night is watching your children having the fun and getting all excited about it!  I guess that's the same for grand parents?

Or DOES it stop there?  What will you be doing this bonfire night?  Will you be sharing the oohs and ahhs as the fireworks explode or will you be huddled in your house saying 'it's abit late for those fireworks to be still going off?"

Well we've manged to find out a few places that you can enjoy some organised events in 2010.  If you know of anymore in the local area, please do let us know by emailing hitchin@thebestof.co.uk or just jump onto the website and add the event yourself!
