Back to school - remember to shop local

Whatever your child needs for school in September, you can still shop local and don't need to go further than Hitchin town centre.

Hawkins in Bucklersbury has dedicated areas for different schools, so it's easy to find everything your child needs. Especially if they're not starting a new school, but have grown out of or lost vital bits of uniform.

Staff have detailed knowledge of all our local schools and will guide you through the range, offering appropriate advice on size. Speaking from experience, now is the time to check that skirts or trousers are still long enough after six weeks off.

Often just as pressing is the realisation that PE kit is looking a bit threadbare or suffering mud stains that are impossible to shift.

So keep shopping local and make the most of the expert advice at Hawkins.
