Autumn advances and there's still lots to look forward to

I do apologise for bringing up the subject of Christmas so early, but this is when businesses in the town start thinking about making sure we all have reasons to stay, shop, eat and drink in Hitchin.

Town centre manager Keith Hoskins is bringing together all the December events and it will all begin with the Christmas Lights switch-on on Friday 23 November. Don't forget that the lights are funded by our local businesses, not by some benevolent government or council body. The beauty of the town in December comes through a lot of hard work and generosity.

So, if you're planning an event in the run-up to Christmas, get in touch with Keith by emailing info@htci.org.uk

And watch out on here for news of forthcoming events, whether fundraising or just fun!
