Are you an artist or painter, professional or amateur?
Would you like the opportunity to sell up to two of your artworks during the Hitchin Festival this summer? Well you can! If you would like to be a featured artist at this year’s event, your art could appear in the window of one of Hitchin Town Centre’s participating shops from Saturday 2nd July to Sunday 24th July
Submission guidelines:
Your artwork should not exceed 1m in any direction except by special arrangement.
Please include a label with your full name, address, email, phone number, title, medium and price, sewn, fused, glued, or written (as appropriate) on the back of your artwork.
Where possible please also include a photograph of your artwork with your name, phone number, address, and email printed on the back.
Although there is no entry fee to take part, a contribution of 10% for any sale is requested. Such donations will go towards Hitchin Festival funds; an annual event that is much loved but non-profit making.
Your artwork must be received at Tim’s Art Supplies in Tilehouse Street, Hitchin on Monday, 27th June. WE REGRET THAT DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS IT IS ONLY POSSIBLE TO RECEIVE ART WORK ON THIS DAY. All works submitted are subject to selection. We will do our best to match the artwork to the most appropriate shop. All unselected work must be collected on contact.
Collection of remaining unsold works will be available from Tim’s Art Supplies from Wednesday 27th July. PLEASE ENSURE WORK IS COLLECTED BY Friday 29th July as STORAGE AREA IS ONLY AVAILABLE UNTIL THEN.
Whilst every care will be taken with your artwork Tim's Art Supplies cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred due to circumstances beyond their control. Please help them by using plenty of bubble wrap on your packaging and they will return works in the same.
