We spent a day following the Zookeepers learning what they did, more about the animals, a lot about conservation and much more.

The staff were incredible and welcoming. They were all enthusiastic about what they did and keen to share with us.

It's hard to nail down a favourite thing amongst such a fantastic day, but feeding the Red Pandas, flying an owl, feeding a group of Lemurs and walking amongst the Tapirs were up there.

To finish an amazing day we watched the tigers get feed.

Paradise Wildlife Park was a brilliant day out for me and my partner. The animals are well cared for and look in good health. The staff were very friendly and were happy to answer any questions put to them. The big cats were especially good to see,the white tiger looked amazing. The food was priced fairly and the portions were large. Overall I would highly recommend this park to people of any age.

Never been before but was recommended to go by one of my friends who go regularly. I have a disabled daughter who is a permanant wheelchair user who is into photography and the facilities are excellent for her as she is short and can see through the glass, also the elevated walkway is a brilliant idea. The paths are all Tarmac so using a wheelchair is no problem. So many zoos have gravel paths and far too many plants in the enclosures, which is great for the animals but not so great for photographers either wheelchair bound or able bodied. But Paradise Wildlife park is a fabulous place, and as an added bonus the loos are clean as well. I will definitely go again

After many years of wanting to see a white tiger yesterday I finally got my wish. Paradise is one of the very few parks to house,a white Tiger. Baikal was a beautiful magnificent Tiger. I was mesmorised. After my partner managed to prise me a way from his pen we walked around the rest of the park. There is so many animals. Big cats to little hamsters, owls to lovebirds. We watched one of the bird displays which left me speechless. The park is a great size, not hilly(so wheelchair/pram friendly),and not miles long. You get fantastic views of the animals through the glass windows or the viewing towers. The keepers were friendly and informative and happy to answer our questions as they went about their daily chores. The cafes were a very reasonable price. Two hot drinks overlooking the tiger enclosure cost under four pounds. The experience itself was priceless. The food was lovely and plentiful. Overall it was the best day out I've ever had. A dream come true. I can't wait to go back with my teenage son and partner in summer as a late birthday treat to myself.

We've been here a few times and us and our 1 & 3 year old love it. So much to keep them entertained. We go on the woodland railway first, this is £1 each, (can add up when there's a lot of you, especially all the £'s for the other extra attractions too). There are dinosaurs at the end so our 3yo loved it this year! Then there's the play area with swings, lots of slides, climbing frames and inflatable slide. You then cross the well managed little road to the zoo area. So many animals here. We went in with the birds this time and fed them (for a £1 each), this was really good, they aren't scared to land all over you. More inflatables in the zoo area and plenty of picnic areas. Then the large soft play area for a scrumptious hot drink and relax while the kids burn off their last bit of energy.
Only reason I've given this a 4 and not a 5 is because all the little extras add up and I think these should be free as it's not cheap to get in, but id definitely recommend!

A brilliant day out. the staff were extremely helpful & friendly which made the experience very special. The zoo is extremely well kept and all the animals looked healthy & happy. Especially the penguins after I had fed them !!!!
Although we hadn't any children with us there was lots of activities for them to do.
My family have been visiting this zoo for over 20 years and have seen it grow from a very basic zoo to the excellent place it s now.
would highly recommend it.

I went with my daughter, husband and grandson had a great time.My grandson is 2years old and enjoyed not only the animals but also the play ground. One thing that really impressed me is that they have a play area for children with disablities not many places cater for their needs, also easy access for the disabled.Signs done in sign language which is a very unusual thing to see shame more places dont do this.Educational lots to do even a motor bike museum would recommend this park to everyone. This was my second visit and I will definately be going again. If people travel by train or bus there is a pick up service to get to the park at only £3 per person though we didnt use this service we were very impressed that this was offered

We went to the Wildlife Park for Breakfast with the big cats. Ian was really nice and funny and knew his stuff about carnivores.
The cats were very shy and some were still having breakfast so we couldn't see them as much as we wanted. Was also planning on seeing a leopard and an ocelot but they were nowhere to be seen... Cats being cats they were probably sleeping (all day).

We spent the rest of the day at the zoo and tried to attend all the shows but it's too much to catch up. Really good size zoo to take the little ones as you can go from one side to the other in a jiffy.

Overall experience was really good.

An array of animals are at this wildlife park yet this was dampened by the lack of enthusiasm from some of the staff. I think that it is unprofessional to give visitors incorrect information about specific animals when asked, not very good to make up information or fob a visitor off - especially if that visitor already knows a wealth of information about a specific species of animal they are enquiring about! Other staff seemed to have a 'can't be bothered' attitude and therefore even talking to them about anything was like hitting your head against a brick wall. Others were more interested in beefing up how good the car park was than the wildlife park itself. Better customer service would not go a miss neither would be to send certain staff on the DMZAA or retrain to get their subject knowledge up to scratch.
The needs for the animals appeared to be good although some of the enclosures do require an update and some of the physical enrichment could do with an improvement.
While it was an experience, there are plenty of other wildlife parks that provide better experiences than Paradise.

The animals are magnificent, and clearly cared for and cared about. The whole ethos of the park is to conserve species which are being lost, and all the staff and particularly the Keepers were enthusiastic about their animals, and keen to answer any questions about the animals in their care. We had a Tiger Tea experience, and the Keeper; Tony; was excellent - informative, knowledgeable, and interesting to listen to. Tea in the Treetops cafe overlooking the Tiger enclosure is highly recommended!

Visited last spring with my wife and my 2 young cousins (8 & 10). Plan to visit again this week for our baby's first birthday!
Nicely paced compared to the crowds at London Zoo. The animals are in good enclosures and look very well cared for. The bird show was fun for all. Good variety of animals and plenty of play areas for the kids.
Recommended!

what a fascinating and interesting place to visit. took my 3 boys for our first visit, have been to many zoos in the past but never been so up close to animals before. My boys loved feeding the goats/sheep/emus although food expensive, small bag of chopped carrot for £1. lots of talks/shows throughout the day although reptile show disappointing as only bought out 1 snake for children to stroke. varied play areas so boys could let off a bit of steam too. enjoyed the train ride around the forest which was reasonable at £1 each. a few areas blocked off/cages empty but it did look as though improvement work was ongoing. all staff seemed friendly and happy to help. already planning another visit there.

We visited PWP today and I just can't put my finger on what I didn't enjoy. Myself, my partner and his 7 year old visited, we paid online and it came to £45...it seemed steep for what was there. All the animal enclosures seemed a lot smaller than other Zoos. We brought ourselves 2 drinks and a icelolly, the Fanta had bits floating in it, when we looked at the best before date it was out of date by 3 months...bit worrying, the icelolly was barely cold let alone frozen. We took it back to the lad in the kiosk, Although he dealt with it and gave us new in date drinks and lollies he couldn't have seemed less bothered by it. I'm not sure who was more bored there, the animals or the staff! I'm not one to see all the bad in places, there is a lot of fun activities for the kids, plenty of slides and bouncy castles! The chap that drives the train was a charmer and made us feel super welcome. It's fab that we got so close to the big cats, the little one was having the time of his life. All that considered, would I visit again...? For £45 and only really 3 hours worth of zoo and park to see...probably not.

We took all three Grand kids to Paradise Wildlife Park last Half term and had a great day. All the kids were fascinated by the many animals in the park. All the big cats were a maximum of 2 metres away were amazing to see. The staff were helpful knowledgeable. There were a huge amount of animals in the park and we were lucky enough to see many of the animals being fed. Easy to get to from London or M25 and great value.
We took a picnic but there are two or three restaurants / Cafes on site. Cant wait to go back again.

The pros:Its well thought out, there are lots of elevated areas to view the big cats from and some viewing areas where you can get very close to the cats. My area of expertise is with snakes and most zoos don't keep their snakes properly. I judge animal care by the state of the snakes as I know if this is being done correctly or not.
The snakes vivarium's were correct for the different breeds. The green anaconda had large rats down for it's food which is inappropriate and showed some care that is lacking, however the snakes were a good size and not skinny as is often the case in zoos.
The rest of the zoo was very nicely set out, I would like to visit again.
The cons: The food court was too small by a long way, it's hard to get a seat. The food itself was pretty good. The coffee comes straight out of a vending machine and was terrible. The staff of the entrance were rude. they stamped my hand even though I said I didn't want readmission. I asked why they insisted on doing so and they said it was company policy which isn't a reason.
Summary: A nice medium sized zoo, definitely worth a visit. Be prepared to have ink stamped on your wrist even if you don't want readmission. Don't expect to get a seat inside to eat and bring your own coffee.

Had a great day out, no kids just adults. My son took me and my Mum for Mothers Day, loved it. Big Cats, Monkeys a Bird display, speedway racing circuit for dads and big kids, diner ! I could go on and on. This Zoo/safari park really does have something for everyone irrelevant of age. Found discount tickets online (days out with kids website) £13 each !!! for whole day, spoke to keepers about tigers, had a great day. Will be going again.

We love paradise park we visit at east 6 times a year as its very local for us and such a good value day out we have seen the big cats at night being walked found the zoo on leashes an amazing sigh!!we always have a relaxed day with lots to see and do,the value for money is exceptional considering the bigger zoos in the area who fall very short in comparison with PEP,we went on mother's day last year and received free entry for myself and we shall be heading there again this year as there are few places I would prefer to spend the day,See you on Sunday!!!

I have visited in an English 'Heatwave' and I have visited in a downpour - but on Monday the weather was cold but nice and bright

it was just as welcoming as before and I couldn't wait to have another look round

I started with the Woodland Walk as I didn't have time for that on previous visits and spotted lots of birds feeding, whilst I sat, invisible in the Bird Hide

All the animals were happy to come out to be photographed except the Ocelot and that was a shame, but I got good photos of all the rest

Would happily spend time travelling up the A12 / M25 to visit again as admission is very reasonable and the Zoo is lovely
