Pleasantly surprised. The dinosaur area was particularly excellent, the children loved it.

Basically this is a 4 for the zoo and the dinosaur. Both are great but the rest of the place needs updating.

The price seems a little steep, but having done the rounds of many attractions in the UK. I would say it's generally to be expected these day. We booked online and saved a little bit of money - every little helps.
The dinosaur trail was a big hit and everyone was blown away by the animatronics. great stuff.
the staff that we interacted with were all very pleasant and helpful.
Generally it was a great day out and kept the grandkids (4 and 12) entertained every minute we were there (about 6 hours)

A fabulous small zoological Park, never really had a bad visit, only if it rains, as members we go at least 4 times a year, friendly chatty staff, lovely animals

My son and I both enjoyed the animals and the dinosaur park. The crazy golf was also a big hit. On the whole a good day out with some minor disappointments.
1. No white tiger due to " maintenance" or some such. My son and I were both looking forward to seeing it.
2. The snow leopard which we were also looking forward to seeing was complete hidden away. I appreciate the animals need a natural habitat but this does need to be balanced with the fact that people come to zoos to see them.
3. Same situation for the ocelot. My son is a big cat fanatic so to have 3 unusual and interesting ones either not there or hidden away was a disappointment. We returned to the enclosure twice to look for the snow leopard but no dice.
4 The cafe was expensive and the queue for the tills pretty long.

The attraction itself is good though but they do need to look at a few things.

Animals were great and lots of play equipment for young children. But i thought it was expensive, lots of things were closed and park seems a little run down. But staff were very nice. The small train is a rip off though.

Brilliant. The majority of all proceeds go to the park and animals.
The only downside is the food.
The new Jurassic Park is informative and kids will love it.

Second review on here for paradise, visited a year ago and came back as we now get half price tickets because we have annual passes for a local zoo that offers this.

Most of my other review remains the same as not much has changed, except the new dinosaur exhibition is amazing! We have a dinosaur park near us with static models, but this blows it out of the water, and is included with park admission too! I think we almost spent as much time in here as we did the rest of the park, the models are amazing and are sensor activated so they move when you get nearby. Plenty of photo opportunities indeed! The only thing we didn't do was the Dino train as that cost extra (understandable but kinda upset it wasn't included).

As for the rest of the zoo, I don't think much was different from a year ago aside from some new additions like the red panda that replaced one who unfortunately passed away. We were hoping the nocturnal house would be built but it wasn't, so maybe a visit will be in order next year.

Standout exhibits would be the white lions, who you can see without bars/glass (love this type of exhibit as opposed to ones where it is hard to see) and in fact most of the big cat viewing which is from a series of elevated walkways.

We visited the Paradise Wildlife Park whilst staying in nearby Harlow.

The Dinosaur Park was amazing with loads of real size robotic dinosaurs and a nice little train. This in itself is well worth a visit!

There were lot's of animals both inside and outside. The talks throughout the day, based around feeding the animals were very informative. The highlights for me was the Red Pandas and Otters. Nice to see that this was all about conservation and a lot of good work going on for animal charities.

The food outlets were typical of similar places, as we went during the week out of high season not all of them were open, however the main cafe was. There was plenty of choice but the food wasn't particularly cheap but was good quality.

There were also lots of play areas, swings etc. for children.

All in all a lovely day out, great for kids and adults alike.

Great place, little one loved it. Spent 3 happy hours in the morning.

Only drawback is the queues.
You can anticipate the footfall on a Saturday morning to lunch, have more staff at the front gates and cafe.
Unfortutely lost half an hour between these two
