Such a variety of things to do. Animals, especially seeing lions so close up the glass is a Great idea. The dinosaurs brilliant, with movement and sound and the lagoon to cool down. Lovely day out.

Visited on a hot day Wednesday, 17th July. I can recommend the Dinosaurs moving and roaring, must of cost a mint to create, great wooded area. Yes close to the wolves as another visitor commented on, i would think the wolves get peace and quiet at night. I know feed back on the cages from manager said that the area is the recommended size, but i felt sad when i left after visiting, other zoos with so much more room. That said you really get a good close up of the animals and not so far for young children to walk. The keepers were very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Not impressed with the sandwich fridge it did not feel cold even with the shutter down and expensive. Would recommend taking a picnic.

Was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and space the animals got to roam around in. Especially the lions. It doesn't feel run down like some other places. Food still a let down. Hence the 4 stars.

So much to do, we took grandparents and 18 month old and we all had a great time. The dinosaurs were amazing, animals well looked after and everything was clean and well managed. We spent all day there and got 20% off with a voucher code. Splash park is a great addition too although it would have been nice to have a designated space for toddlers.

We had an experience each, I chose a Snow Leopard, my partner a tiger. Hannah, our keeper showed us where their food was prepped and explained the stringent procedures they have to adhere to, all very enlightening. then to the animals. this is done at their leisure and it took a little while before Panja decided to stroll over. He was so gentle in taking his food and was just an amazing creature, such a privilege to feed him. My partner managed to feed both Siberia and her twin sister Aleena. The whole day was informative, Hanna was very knowledgeable and throughout the day you got the feeling that it was all about conservations and fund raising for various charities. At no point did it feel like the animals were exploited, we felt that they were indeed ambassadors for their breed. The ethics, strategies and aims of the Park are all to promote sustainability and this is built in to all of the talks too. Highly recommended, the cost of the experience helps to fund all of the charitable work too. The dinosaur park was enjoyable also, giving us an idea of their size, all in all it was a great day out

Really really lovely zoo. Lots of children's play areas to keep the kids entertained. The crazy golf is an extra £2 but totally worth it as it is 18holes we had so much fun. The animals are beautiful and would recommend the experiences they offer as they are fantastic.

Our grandson loves animals and dinosaurs, so this seemed like the perfect place to bring him. It was a beautiful summer day, during term time, there were plenty of school parties, but it was not crowded. Its not too big to get round in day, with plenty of time to stop for a picnic. I was impressed by the animatronic prehistoric creatures, the general layout of the zoo, the friendliness of the staff, and the reasonable cost of entry, the grandson was too, well the animals & dinosaurs anyway! - job done.

Although I had a voucher, I still found this to be quite and expensive day out hence the four stars. We started in the dinosaur area and little one really enjoyed the models with their animatronics and sounds. She only got a fright twice and was very proud of herself for that! Then onto the animal area. Lots to see. Good signage and plenty of space despite the school parties which arrived later in the day, after lunch we went to the larger play area. Four year old loved this and ran around happily for an hour. She even queued for the swing over and over. Yes. Swing. Singular. There is only one and there was often a queue. They could do with a few more. On the whole a good day out for a one off treat.

We took the District Beaver scouts last Saturday and they had a great time. There are loads of animals to see in close proximity as well as plenty of exciting slides, things to clamber over and space to run about. The Dinosaur park is brilliant and there is a warden in hand to explain the models. The cafe has great meals at reasonable prices and there is even a soft play area and a lagoon. I would recommend this zoo to everyone.

Pretty awesome wildlife and dino park, but quite expensive. If your kids love animals and dinos it's a must, I would say don't go with little ones, under 4ish, they might not appreciate it at its value 😊

Great day out for all at a reasonable price. So many improvements over the past 2 years. You can see Lions, Jaguar, Cheetahs and many more. Meerkats and monkeys you could watch all day. Activities and educational talks if you want them. Kids playground aplenty. Picnic tables everywhere !!
Plenty of parking too.
The grandchildren were spark out in the car on the way home. Deep joy !!
Many thanks to all the staff and volunteers for an enjoyable day

I attended here as a nursery trip with my little boy who was just under 2 at the time, we had a discounted entry fee and 'Under 2 yrs' go for free! I can't comment on the cost of a regular ticket as I didn't pay this. We went on a very got day at the end of June and packed for a full day out (we had packed lunch)
First off the location isn't too far outside London and we planned a return visit tomorrow for my little one, husband and myself.
As soon as you get through the entrance you can access all areas of the wildlife park this includes the small splash/paddle park, zoo, dinosaur feature walk, dinosaur train, park area, restaurants, snack bars and souvenir shops.
We got there as a group and immediately headed for the dinosaur walk think Jurassic park style with dinosaur figurines, some move and make noise, others have props in front to take pictures and each dinosaur has a small fun fact sheet with basic stuff perfect for kids.
once you exit the walk you come out into the gift shop and most stuff was reasonable some stuff I thought was expensive but all the gifts in this shop are dino themed.
we then went round to the zoo next and this includes big cats (bird which I missed) and all the smaller animals you would except we didn't sit for any of the animal talks but these would be great for kids slightly older.
After we took a quick moment to grab a snack and eat and drink some more. The paddle pool is really small and can get very busy but if you get there at a quiet moment it's great there's a little slide in the middle and shallow enough for young ones to walk through.
There is also an indoor soft play area with restaurant (handy if parents want to sit and grab a quick drink and kids can play) I personally did not use this and so I can't elaborate much on it.
A point of reference I glanced at one of the restaurant menus kids meals were around £5 adult meals were around £6/7, Ice creams were about £2.50+ depending on the cone. There was also slush, drinks and doughnuts being sold as well.
I would totally recommend for kids that love either animals or dinosaurs as they will really enjoy it and can play on the park area an paddle if it's lovely weather.
I came fully prepared with cold ice water in a flask to keep little one hydrated and small snacks like fruit and vegetable sticks. We packed a little towel change of clothes, hat etc, I also had my buggy and if you do have a little one they will be tired there's quite a bit of walking for them to do.
