It's our annual tradition to go to Paradise Wildlife Park so we were thrilled when it opened again last month
My daughter loves it even though she's now in her 20s
She's a keen photographer and she wasn't disappointed being able to get some great shots of her favourite animals including the elusive snow leopard and the cheeky meer cats
A great family day out with plenty to see and do for the kids

Great place if you have children, its quite small and I wouldn't say its a whole day's worth but its more fun for kids. The dinosaur section is great
Lots of areas to sit and eat your picnic

Had a lot of fun. Animals looked great and are so engaging. The food and ice cream are decently priced not over expensive. A lot of activities and fun stuff for kids to do and the zoo is very easy to navigate.

Visited yesterday,. It was fairly busy but a lot had been put in place to keep everyone safe. As always there was people to comply to social distancing but hey ho you will get that anywhere.. Dinosaur was amazing the boys loved reading the fact and particularly liked the info about Jurrasic park.. The animal world was well spaced out and the animals were so close it was lovely too see them. We eat lunch at Safari diner and the food was good value especially for an attraction. Will definitely be back to visit again

Good experience overall however keen to know why the fake dinosaurs have more space than the real wolves who are living in a small cage? Not sure if the park is the one for animal lovers

Enjoyable day out. Venue has implemented social distancing measures in the queue and on the train ride and encouraging hand sanitizing with lots of sanitizing stations around. Also masks are required in any indoor areas including cafe and rainforest walkthrough. The baby changing room in the cafe was quite dirty. It looked like it could use a deep cleaning and a paint job. I really didn't want to change my baby in there but had no choice.
The food in the cafe was pretty good and meals were decently priced. Though I found the drinks were what was expensive.
Overall a good day out and a few play areas to keep the kids busy. Worth doing like once a year, I wouldn't do more than that for the price. 2 adults, a 5 year old and a baby (free) cost £64.

Absolutely amazing place to visit with family. Our son saw all the animals, enjoyed dinosaur trial and all playground facilities. There is a one way system which is perfect, but some people are not smart enough to follow it unfortunately, so better come early morning as we did and enjoy this place when its quiet and all facilities are only for you.
Highly recommend as we have been to 2 other zoos after lockdown and paradise Park is the only one which I would say worth visiting and you won't regret.

Great day out. Im so glad we booked early slot as later in the day it was very very busy but we were finishing our tours so avoided the crowds! It would be nice to see tigers thus it should adjust the price while they settle in (some enclosures were emoty so abit didappointing). Good one way system. Obviously the Dino world part was a big hit with my kids and those eggs you can go in, they loved it! The only thing was a bit meh, the Train ride - for £2 the train should be faster (i thought the thing will pack up!) and longer journey (visit one of the train centres in Bucks - you’ll see what is a proper fast ride on kids train around the displays 😉).

Paradise Wildlife Park has always been a gem in Hertfordshire. Has a friendly, family feel with well looked after animals. This was first time I’d seen the Dino-Park and had an 11 year old with me. To be honest, expected it to be bit naff but not at all! We thought the dinosaurs were great, moving about and roaring. Lots of different things across the park to entertain young and old. The kids love the train.

The is not a huge zoo but that’s the beauty - no long queues, can see the animals and friendly staff.

Good distancing measures in place to keep you safe.

I had a big cat feeding experience voucher so booked in for 01/09/20, we are in our late 50s early 60s and have a physical walking disability . We had a fantastic time we went round the whole park very clean, animals well looked after,The staff were all very polite and helpful, We would like to say a special thank you to Emma who works in the discovery center very cheerful and helpful young lady made us feel very welcome! even offered to help us put our scooters in the car when we were leaving!! Also a big thanks to Hannah who took us to the cat feeding experience it was so obvious that she loves the cats she gave us lots of information about the Tigers she made me feel very safe and confident when feeding them. Thank you for a lovely day we would recommend this park especially as a family day.

It was an Incredible experience and our children loved it. Especially seeing so many animals - camels, dinosaurs, lions, Snow leopards, squirell monkeys, merkats, penguins and many more. They enjoyed taking the train and seeing the dinosaurs, also the play area. The food was good, but we would have preferred to find more fruits there, also the social distancing wasn’t respected by everyone, unfortunately.
But overall, it was great and we all loved this experience.

Nice little park and close to where I live ....could do with being a bit more reasonable with the size of the park ...its not really a day out. The new dino walk thing is very good nice addition.

Really well set up in the current climate. Park was a nice type of busy but was still very spacious. Forget how big it is and can easily spend the day here with a little one. Will be back to get the membership as looks great value!

Third trip to this lovely place with our two grandchildren. Due to Covid we were of course a little wary as to our safety but need not have worried. Paradise have really put a lot of thought into the safety of visitors, staff and of course the animals. Pre- booked ticket only. Limited numbers, ‘hanitizers’ (as our youngest granddaughter calls them) prolific and always full. One way system, markings everywhere. Unfortunately there are some areas that are no go at the moment but everyone understands that and it did not lesson our enjoyment of the day. Still as clean as always and reasonable prices for food and drinks. A wonderful day out for us all. Long may they continue.
You have to go!!!!!

I haven't been to Paradise Park for many years. I was excited to go back with son and 5 year old grandson.
It has expanded of course with an amazing dinasaur trail which of course the 5 year old loved! Lots of scary " monsters " roaring and looking incredibly realistic moving their arms , heads and rolling eyes.
The park is suffering with the restrictions that have been imposed avoiding Covid. It did lack atmosphere because there was no commentary no feeding and quite a few walkways are shut.
The white lions were beautiful but because the tiger enclosure wasn't finished we only caught a glimpse of him . I was disappointed in not seeing more big cats as that was what was so amazing in the past
Also the wcs were not as clean as I would expect . One of the portaloos was in a poor state and I wondered if this had been cleaned first thing.
I didn't think there were enough guides either .
The animals all look in peak health and I hope next year the park will have regained its former buzz.
