We visited yesterday as a family. Booked the tickets on line which was easy enough. We booked for 9am which I'm glad we did as we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
Having gone round the dinos and animals we stopped to go on the train. This was very well organised.
However, remember to review the map as the information on the floor around the animals has worn already and a number of times, we and others, got confused as to which way we needed to go.
Food is expensive (£2.50 for coffee and £3.50 for muffin) so best take snacks and lunch.
We had really only planned for the morning as we felt it might get busy, which is did.

So we thought we would treat ourselves to doughnuts. £4 for 4 tiny doughnuts and they were rock hard. Best stay away from them.

My kids had blast and the staff are very friendly. The tigers are closed and so are a lot of the viewing platforms.

Best advice is to get there early and leg it when it gets busy.

All the animals were really interactive like they've missed people! The staff are always friendly and it's nice to be able to go back. All the enclosures are well maintained and the animals are healthy and happy 😊.

My husband had lived most of his life near to this zoo, but had never been. My place of work was doing a money off deal for wildlife parks to help out post lockdown, so decided to take hubby there for his birthday.
We both thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the big cats, although you couldn't get to see the tigers up close, due to work on their enclosure.

We both loved the dinosaur park. That alone is worth a visit.

A few other things were closed or restricted, but we both had an enjoyable morning.

A great place for a family day out with lots to do for children. The parking area is huge and it's all very well organised place. I have been here 6 times now and you can never be disappointed seeing the various creatures of animilia life here.

A lovely day out. More than a zoo, a great playground, dinosaur display and before covid they also had indoor soft play, splash pool and bouncy castle. More than enough to keep the kids happy all day.

Great place for the kids not to big unlike the other zoo in Bedfordshire so you got to saw most of the animals. Only taken card payments at the moment would be nice if cash payment was also available.

Great place to take the family. The best time to arrive is when they open as not many people are there. We arrived at 9am with a small wait to be let in to the park.

As soon as you walk in you have a speedway museum, then it's on to the dinosaurs walk which is fantastic, they look super realistic!! And might scare your kids as the are activated by motion detection.

After that we headed around the zoo where you can see all sorts of animals, from lions to owls they have a lot to see.

Tips take alot of water which if it's hot as the shops and restaurants can get very busy.

We found that it took little over half a day to go around the park, so if your look for a full day out I would look elsewhere or plan to stop somewhere after.

The price is in my opinion expensive, £22 for 16+ is expected but £20 for over 2 yo is a steep, especially if you compare it to Colchester zoo where under 3's are free, 3-15yo £16.20 and 16+ £22.49

The park is good and you will have a great day out.

This is a lovely zoo was some amazing animals, however, it is not where as large as Whipsnade and some of the animals were missing from their enclosures. The staff are very helpful and the one way system works very well. The public were no keeping to this one way system and had no regard for social distancing but this is not the zoo's fault. Most of the public were behaving like Covid-19 has not existed and are going about the zoo touching everything, not wearing masks in enclosed spaces and not washing their hands or sanitising. Parking is pretty easy and there are plenty of benches for a sit down. We were not given a map so it was easy to sometimes get confused as to where you were within the zoo.

Everything is well organised and so many hand sanitisers placed around the zoo you can’t go wrong. Masks are to be worn when entering any closed exhibit to see insects/reptiles etc.

A bit sad that we didn’t see many of the main attraction animals such as the lions and the tigers are under renovation for a new enclosure.

The shops in dinosaur land and the main gift shop seemed a bit thin on the ground for stock which was a let down but was good to see they were selling face mask at a really reasonable price too. All purchases are card only.

My BIGGEST gripe of the day is that the Zoo has so many wasps it’s ridiculous. It’s not an enjoyable experience in the food area trying to eat and they are flying round you all the time. I saw a lot of arms being waved around, and kids screaming due to this annoyance.

Why place bins right next to benches and picnic tables as it just attracts them. Yes I know that you want people to dispose of their rubbish but move them away from where they are sitting.

There were fly traps around the zoo but not enough in my opinon and some were full up.

My day didn’t end well as after trying to avoid the wasps all day which was not great I was stung while waiting in a queue.

Please try to do something to combat this as I would hate to think a child gets stung then again it would be hard not too the amount flying around.

A lot more to do than you think at first. Animals had good, clean pens and seemed to love the keepers, mostly for food to be fair. Lots of activities for young children.

Animated dinosaurs very realistic! Thought the train ride should have been included in the entry price. Great lions. Some enclosures need updating/extending.

Like other contributors I really cannot believe the rating given by some other contributors! We took our grandchildren today aged 12 and 7 and they both had a fabulous day. They have both been to London, Whipsnade, Colchester and Paignton Zoo’s and said Paradise Wildlife Park was just as good! We had lunch and ice cream and spent a lot less than we would in a bigger zoo and the food was good value for money.
The staff were very friendly and all a a smile on their faces even when dealing with difficult visitors! The signage was good and the one way system worked well. I was very impressed by the number of hand sanitizer points there were, shame more people didn’t make use of them! At points areas were a little crowded but it was easy to avoid those areas
Well done to the management team and staff for managing to create a safe environment making the most of challenging circumstances. Thank you and we will return!

Visited with my son and daughter in law and my 2 year old grandson. He was thrilled at the dinosaur exhibition. Queues were minimal, think due to ticket only admission. Park wasnt busy which is a shame but eveything was brilliant. Some reviews on here say food is overpriced and greasy. No it wasnt. Do you expect to pay cheap at a theme park? I dont. £4.50 for a burger and chips is ok. Shop prices were as to be expected. I heard some people moaning about the £2 per person extra for the train ride through dino land. Again yiu are not forced to do this and its well worth the money. The park was closed in lockdown so has to claw back costs somehow. All in all a very pleasant day out.

It was quiet early but getting bust towards 1pm. The dinosaur park was great and would highly recommend. The animals park is good but not a lot of shade. It takes about 2 and half hours to walk round it all minus breaks. Lots of toilets and the best thing about the loos - they have children's loo seats built in! So hand when I have two toddlers who hate big toilet seats. Overall good day.
