Councillor Liz Bowley, Portfolio Holder for Developing Places to Live and Work, said: "The regeneration of Heanor town centre is one of the Council's highest priorities and this grant scheme will complement the actions we are already taking in the town centre.  We want local businesses to take advantage of the scheme to enhance the appearance of their own shops and to visually improve the town centre as a whole, whilst giving a boost to the local economy at this difficult time."
