Heanor pair Sarah Blake and Jayne Stallion represented the East Midlands at the recent National Lifesaving Championships at Pond’s Forge, winning qualification through from the County and the Regional levels.
The pair were proud to wear the East Midlands kit, joining other competitors from the region. They both achieved personal best times to achieved a commendable third place in the swim and tow event, helping the East Midlands Team secure a very commendable second place nationally.
