How lucky are we in Heanor and Ripley to be served by such an impressive and caring local bus company?
Those of us who regularly use public transport know how big a part the bus services can play in keeping our lives stress-free and running smoothly, and during the recent snowy weather, the way that Trent Barton battled on as long as possible, but more importantly kept us informed of what was happening as possible, shows just how seriously they take this responsibility.
That's why we're really pleased to tell you that our Langley Mill based friends have just won two fantastic titles at the UK Bus Awards, including an award for Marketing Excellence for the flagship Red Arrow service, which connects our two local cities of Nottingham and Derby.
Commercial Director Alex Hornby said
"We are particularly pleased to receive the Putting Passengers First award, as customer service is at the heart of everything we do.
Our submission for the award highlighted the importance of training within a customer focused culture and being research led in our decision making. It also focused on the fact that we act on customer feedback and the vital role drivers have in developing a relationship with customers.
One of our simple expectations is that our staff treat customers as if they were their own Mum"
Well done to all the drivers and staff at Trent Barton.
