Members from Heanor Swimming Club represented Derbyshire on 24th September at Retford Leisure Centre to take part in the East Midlands Regional Lifesaving Championships.
The competitors took part in a combination of events, a pool based SERC, a land based SERC, 12m rope throw and swim and tow events to round off an exciting day.
Congratulations to all who took part and our medal winners and especially good luck to Sarah and Jayne who secured a place to represent the East Midlands at the forthcoming National Championships in November at Pond’s Forge.
