Valentine's Day has been and gone, which means that our 14 Days of Love campaign is also over for another year!
This is the second year we've run it in Heanor and Ripley, and each year it just keeps getting better and better.
We know that you all love supporting local businesses, but we didn't realise quite how much - we received close to 1000 new reviews sent in as part of the campaign - you guys ROCK!
And even better - those reviews have given us some stunning results for local businesses in the national 14 Days of Love competition.
Mike Ferguson - Utility Warehouse was voted 3rd MOST LOVED BUSINESS in CATEGORY in the UK
Locally, the MOST LOVED BUSINESS in HEANOR and RIPLEY was a really close race, with architect Chris Froggatt of Architectural Building Design Services holding top spot almost until the very last day, when he was pipped by Glazedale K&A Cox Ltd in a nail biting finish!
All the businesses involved wanted to join me in wishing you all a MASSIVE THANK YOU for voting for them - it really does make a difference to them individually, but most of all, it shows the world that Heanor and Ripley is firmly on the map and that we have some of the most amazing businesses in the country right here in our little corner of Derbyshire!
The full results can be found on our Loveometer, but we've pulled out the headline tables below for you to see....
