Today marks an amazing day for local artist Mandy Ahlfors, who runs the beautiful Muse Gallery and Art Studio in Heage.
We already know and love Mandy's work, and we're absolutely overjoyed to tell you that Mandy has now been heralded as one of the 100 greatest living artists in the world by Remko Spaan, acclaimed owner of the Sequoia Art company.
Her work has been chosen for a very exclusive and prestigious new concept, being turned into a design manually printed on a strictly limited edition designer T-shirt.
100 artists have been chosen, with one new design unveiled each day for 100 days. There are only 100 of each available, each with their individual number (0-99) printed on the sleeve, and each sold for between $100 and $500. Now that really is limited edition!
Each artist's design has to be completely new and unique, never seen before by the public, and Mandy has been very careful to keep her creation under wraps...until now! The Heage based artist's day has come, and her creation is the featured t-shirt for today (Sun 29th Jan).
