There have been a few recent changes to faces on the local Safer Neighbourhood policing teams in the Amber Valley.

PC Richard Martin moves from the Heanor Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team to the Belper Town Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, PC Simon Gilding has moved from Belper Town to Ripley and PC Dan Quick joins the Heanor team from the Ripley team.

PCSO Chris Bannister is now responsible for the Alfreton Rural Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, which covers Crich, Whatstandwell, South Wingfield, Dethick, and Pentrich.

He joins the team from the Somercotes and Riddings Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, and is replaced by PCSO Becky Davis, formerly of the South Normanton and Pinxton Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team.

PC Mark Gibbs has joined the Alfreton Town Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, and PCSO Chris Hart moves from the Alfreton Town team to the South Normanton and Pinxton Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Inspector Graham Lamin, who is in charge of policing in the Amber Valley, said:

“Changes to the faces on our teams do change from time to time, and we want to make sure the local community are kept up-to-date on these changes.

“All our teams will continue their same level of service, with the aim of keeping levels of anti-social behaviour and crime low. Please don’t hesitate to contact your local officers if you have any concerns about your neighbourhood.”
