By living in Heanor or Ripley you are entitled to a Residents' Car Parking Permit. For just £2 this permit allows you to park free of charge for a year in all Amber Valley car parks.

This only applies at the following times:

  • Mon - Sat after 4pm
  • Mon - Sat before 10am (Heanor ONLY)
  • All day on Sundays

To get your Parking Permit is simple! The Council sends the application in the Council Tax Demand. Just complete this and take it into your Town Centre Office along with proof of vehicle ownership (log book) and the cashier will issue you your own Residents' Parking Permit.

If you don't have an application form or would like an additional permit; then you will need to go to one of the Council's Town Centre Offices with proof of vehicle ownership (logbook) and proof of residency. The cashier will then issue you with your parking permit.

For conditions of use and more information head on over to the Amber Valley Borough Council website and navigate to Residents & Disabled Parking in the Transport and Streets menu.
