Detectives have released images of a large amount of property they believe to have been stolen from homes and vehicles in Amber Valley.

It is hoped that victims of crime will recognise the items and contact officers so they can be returned to their rightful owners.

The property includes golf bags and clubs, garden strimmers, power tools, a sewing machine, toy cars, children’s bicycles, CDs and a wooden clock.

The items were recovered by officers who executed a series of warrants in Heanor on November 5. Three men and one woman have been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and released on bail while the inquiry continues.

DC Gavin Hooton, of Amber Valley Volume Crime Scene, said: “We think some of the property could have been taken from people’s homes while the tools and garden equipment may have been stolen from vans, garages or sheds.

“They could belong to people from across the Amber Valley area.

“If you recognise any of the items as yours, please get in touch by calling us on 101.”
