The festive season is already underway in Haverhill, with a wide range of festive events and activities taking place across in the town and surrounding villages the build up to the big day.

Christmas Fair

Helions Bumpstead gets things started with its Christmas Fair on Friday 26th November.

Starting from 5pm at Helions Bumpstead Village Hall, the Fair offers locals the chance to find unique Christmas gifts, enter Santa's Lucky Dip and enjoy your first glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

Family Entertainment and Pantomimes

Keddington Community Centre is the location for Treasure Island, a pantomime by the talented Ketton Players,  from the 27th November until the 4th December.

Haverhill Arts Centre will be celebrating the festive season with a spectacular production of A Christmas Carol on the 1st December from 7:30pm.

Christmas Wine Tasting and Charity Events

Birdbrook Community House provides the venue for a Festive Wine Tasting evening on the 2nd December from 7pm, with all proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust East Anglia Unit at Addenbrooke's.

On Friday 10th December, St Nicholas Hospice Care of Haverhill is running its latest fundraiser - Santa's Hospice Jingle.

Asking as many local people as possible to dress as Santa for the day, volunteers will be collecting funds across the local area and hope to raise around £10,000 to help support the Hospice's essential work in Haverhill.

Haverhill Late Night Christmas Shopping

Haverhill Late Night Shopping takes place on the 10th December with entertainment, stalls and a fun fair in the High Street. The evening culminates  with a firework celebration on the Recreation Ground at 8.15pm.  

Business Networking and Christmas Marketplace

Haverhill business people can enjoy their last chance to mingle with customers and colleagues before the Christmas break at It's Thursday with The Best of Haverhill on the 16th December.
