Vote for Haverhill Volunteer Centre
19th November 2010
... Comments

Haverhill Volunteer Centre is one of three local charities nominated in the NatWest Community Fund.  The fund is part of the Bank’s Customer Charter and the aim is to support hundreds of local charities and projects across Britain.

The initiative began in July 2010 when NatWest gave people the chance to nominate charities and projects that were making a difference in their local communities. All the eligible nominations submitted were reviewed by regional panels comprising staff, local people and community leaders to arrive at a shortlist of three for each local area. Local people have then been encouraged to vote for the charity they consider most worthy of the £3000 donation.

There are now only days left before the voting closes, please take a minute of your time to vote for Haverhill Volunteer Centre.  You can vote in a NatWest branch by completing a form or online at www.natwest.com/communityfund.  Voting closes at close of business in the branch on 26th November or midnight on 26th November for online votes.

The results of the voting will be announced in December and the winning charity or project from each local area will receive £3,000, with the two runners up receiving £1,000 each.

You vote counts – please take a minute to help Haverhill Volunteer Centre secure £3000 of much needed funding.
