What better way to keep the kids busy than to scare them silly?

Get Ready for Fright Night!

Halloween starts early in Haverhill this year, as make-up artist, Avril Iles is putting on a Horror Make-Up Workshop at 10am on October 24th 2011 in the Media Hub Room at Haverhill Arts Centre, using fake blood, professional stage make-up and wax to create some truly horrifying faces.

Halloween Make It Session

Haverhill Leisure Centre plays host to the Halloween Make It Session at 2:30pm on October 24th - the opportunity for 5 to 12 year olds to create their very own Halloween hats and masks. Entry is £3 per child.

Pumpkin Carving

11am on 25th October sees Haverhill Leisure Centre’s popular Pumpkin Carving session, which costs just £3 and is fun for kids and parents alike.

Halloween Children’s Spooky Ball

Looking for a way to keep the children amused during half term? Featuring great music and frightening games, entry costs £3.

Halloween Trail

On 28th October, from 7pm, East Town Park will become a nightmare of epic proportions! Are you brave enough the follow the Halloween Trail?

The event is completely free and suitable for the whole family and accompanied children. Just don’t forget your torch!

Cursed

Cressing Temple is the venue for Essex’s number one Halloween event, Cursed, providing the ultimate scare experience. Mazes, live performers, special effects, secrets, asylums... what more could you want?

Walks take place from 5:30pm until 10:30pm on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th December and is not suitable for children under 12.

The Halloween Showcase

Another slightly off-the-wall Halloween themed event, The Halloween Showcase takes place on 29th October 2011 at the TIC Raceway in Haverhill and is a hearse, banger and banger & caravan racing extravaganza.
