Are you a talented musician?

The 22nd Haverhill Sinfonia Soloist Competition is calling for all musicians to showcase their musical talents. The prestigious competition will be judged by some of the top performers in their field, and is taking place on Saturday 24th September.

The categories include brass, piano, singers, strings, and woodwind. People of all ages and nationalities may apply, and should be of diploma standard, or at least ABRSM grade 8 distinction.

There will be 35 prizes up for grabs to the value of £8,075, including the chance to perform with the Arnold Sinfonia or Airedale Symphony Orchestra, and solo recital slots in places like Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Derby and Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The fantastic judging panel will include Kevin Hill MBE, the music director of Haverhil Sinfonia and Arnold Sinfonia; Stephen Bryant, leader of the BBC Symphony Orchestra; Timothy Lines, a professor of clarinet at the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of music, and, Colin Stone who is the artistic director of the LMT Chamber Ensemble.
