It was such a contrast to the ornate, pure white cake Kate had, which had Lily of the Valley cascading down the tiers.
“This is fast becoming a new trend for weddings- sometimes the groom wants his own cake made in a flavour of his choice rather than the frills of a traditional white cake.”
Kate’s cake had an English floral theme and included many British symbols, including white roses, thistles, daffodils, shamrocks, acorns, ivy, honeysuckle and white jasmine.
