Linton Children’s Book Festival
We had a very pleasant and uplifting afternoon on Sunday 13th May at the Linton Children’s Book Festival held at Linton Village College. This was a two day event packed full of free activities for children to enjoy of all ages. We chose to go along to see author Rebecca Patterson read 4 of her great children’s books first. This was very well attended and she held the attention of her pre-school audience well with funny stories and lots of audience participation. We then made our way through the school to the main hall where we took our seats for a musical story of Babar the Elephant. The orchestra played the accompanying music to the story very well and although the story was a little on the sad side for some of the younger children, it was very well received overall.
