The VELC (Very Early Lunch Club) has been running very successfully now for 8 years in Cambridge with monthly meetings at held at Anglesey Abbey. Ian Clemson, founder of the VELC explains, “We have decided to take the successful formula and bring it to Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill. We will be holding the breakfast meetings from 7.15am-9.45am on the 2nd Friday of every month at Frankie & Benny’s restaurant. The first meeting will take place on Friday 11th May 2012.”

The Haverhill VELC will be hosted by local businessman David Allan of Doxbond, document storage specialists, who are based in Haverhill.

The format for the event includes open networking, a chance to pitch your USP to other business owners around the tables, a good cooked breakfast and an excellent speaker to finish things off.

The first speaker for Haverhill is Mark Rhodes.  Mark is an Entrepreneur, Business Mentor, International Speaker and Trainer in Success. He has also “been there and done it” from the ground up with his own Internet Software company that he started, build and ran and then sold to a  USA Silicon Valley organisation in 2001, just two years after starting the business in 1999.

Mark’s presentation will cover:-

What makes a person successful?

The mindset for success

The Fear of Failure

Barriers to success
