Local Haverhill residents will have the chance to air their views on the controversial retail development planned for the old Project site.

The St Edmundsbury Development Control Committee will meet on the 21st October at Haverhill Community Football Association on Chalkstone Way from 10am to discuss important issues from across Haverhill, including the planning permission for the scheme at Ehringshausen Way which has been deemed by many as a breach of Council policy.

Wickes has been confirmed as the new first tenant to take up space at the new retail park named 'Hamlet Green' which also includes warehousing, business start-up units and a family restaurant.

Local people wishing to make a representation at the next Committee meeting regarding the development will need to register before 5pm on the 20th October by calling Democratic Services on 01284 757107 or 757176.
