Haverhill Town Council-in partnership with Suffolk County Council Trading Standards, Haverhill CAB, REACH, Havebury Housing, Eastern Savings and Loans Credit Union and other partners - is supporting a:
Loan shark awareness week in Haverhill during the week beginning Monday 24th November 2014.
To launch the week we would like to cordially invite you to join Councillor Roger André, Mayor of Haverhill, to sign the Haverhill Stop Loan Sharks Charter . The Charter signing event will take place from 10.00am on Monday 24th November 2014 at Haverhill Arts Centre- where tea and coffee will be available.
The event is also an opportunity to find out more about the national project set up to tackle loan sharking and pick up a bag of 'shark' publicity to distribute to colleagues and clients during the week. Information will also be available about a safe, legal alternative to loan sharks, the Credit Union in Haverhill.
