From pumpkin carving to spooky free concerts, Halloween 2010 in Haverhill is shaping up to be the scariest ever.

Typically celebrated on or around the 31st October, Halloween is the one night of the year when zombies, werewolves and vampires take to the streets to haunt the locals and maybe even get their claws on some free sweets!

Struggling to think of things to do with the family this Halloween?

Haverhill Leisure Centre boasts a wide range of events at the end of October to get your little ghosts and ghouls in the Halloween spirit.

Why not turn your hand to Pumpkin Carving on the 26th October? Or for the more active of you, Haverhill Leisure Centre has organised a Laser Blast Halloween Special on the 29th where kids can navigate a dark spooky room armed with a laser gun.

Parents are also in on the fun and can enjoy a free Halloween Band Night at the Leisure Centre on the 29th October, featuring a host of local musicians getting dressed up as assorted monsters and beasts especially for the occasion.

Alternatively, if you're brave enough to venture into the woods, East Town Park in Haverhill will be taking a very spooky walk around the park from 8:30pm on the 29th October.

And last, but by no means least, Haverhill Leisure Centre will be topping it all off with a massive Halloween Party from 6pm on the 29th October. With Halloween inspired party games, dancing and spooky prizes to be won, the party is just £3 admission and is open to the whole family.
