Finally, the secret is out! Enterprising Acorns Haverhill has revealed who it's two business partners will be – Haverhill's very own talented ladies, Jan Cavelle and Theresa Foddering!
After a long wait, the mystery was finally unveiled just four days before the company launch, which will be held on Friday, September 16th 5.30pm at the New Croft in Haverhill. The much awaited initiative will be introduced by local MP Matthew Hancock.
Jan and Theresa will explain how the scheme will work in the long run. Enterprising Acorns has said the launch will almost take the form of a small business fair, with many companies present – such as Menta and Barclays – to give free, expert advice and information on banking and training within your company. Also present will be specialists on IT, HR, Employment Law and EADT - who will give advice about dealing with press. Business experts and entrepreneurs will also be available to answer any queries.
Well, with all this secrecy surrounding the scheme, it's no wonder that business partners Jan and Theresa, are finally excited to be 'let out of the dark'. Jan quotes 'There is much to be proud of in the business world in Haverhill' and Theresa adds 'There is something for everyone through Acorns'. I guess we'll just have to wait until Friday to find out any more!
