It’s a wee bit chilly outside and there’s always the temptation to turn up the heating and spend your free time experiencing Christmas vicariously via your TV screen.

Forget that! Wrap up warm, even throw your glad rags on from time to time and enjoy the live Christmas entertainment Haverhill has to offer.

Festive musical nostalgia awaits in the shape of A Touch of Holly at Christmas. Join Marc Robinson on Saturday 28th November with his Rock N Roll Christmas Show full of Buddy Holly classics, where he will be joined by Billy Fury and Elvis tribute acts. The show, at Haverhill Arts Centre, will see favourite Christmas songs given a rock and roll makeover!

Even if Shakespeare isn’t your thing, you’d be mad to miss this rare opportunity to see acting legends Judi Dench and Kenneth Branagh live on stage. The Winter’s Tale is a festive classic, a tragicomedy re-imagined in this new production which sees a perfect life plunged into tragedy as a consequence of jealousy and obsession. Also starring Tom Bateman (currently wowing and terrifying TV audiences in equal measure with his portrayal of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde), Jessie Buckley, Miranda Raison and Hadley Fraser.

Tickets on sale at Haverhill Arts Centre, the performance takes place on 26th November.  Click here for more information.
