Winners of 2010’s Towergate Accumulator Challenge, Paul Donno and Co have organised a lavish casino evening as part of their 2011 fundraising campaign on behalf of local charity, St Nicholas Hospice Care.

Taking place at the Purple Mango Indian Restaurant, from 7pm on Thursday 18th August, the event is set to be a first class night in aid of a very worthwhile cause.

Located in Bury St Edmunds, St Nicholas Hospice Care provides a range of support and hospice services for people with terminal and life-shortening illnesses.

Paul Donno explained: : “Last year we organised several different events during the course of the challenge and we were delighted when we raised nearly £3,000 for the hospice – and quite surprised to be named the winners as we were up against some much bigger companies.

“This year we are hoping that the charity casino evening will be well supported once again.”

Whilst the main aim of the night is to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice Care, it doesn’t hurt that the person with the highest winnings wins a £50 cash prize!

Tickets to the casino evening cost £25, which include a two course Indian buffet meal and £5 worth of chips to pay at the tables on the night.

Dress code is black tie/cocktail dress. Please call Louise Craig from Haverhill accountants, Donno and Co on 01787 281 688, email her or visit the Charity Casino Evening website to book tickets.

Any donations for the raffle will be gratefully received.

About the Towergate Accumulator Challenge

The second annual Towergate Accumulator Challenge sees 49 businesses from across the region competing against each other over the course of three months to raise as much money for the Bury St Edmunds hospice from a £50 stake.

St Nicholas Hospice Care’s Corporate Fundraiser, Abby Mayes, explained: “I love this challenge as it offers excellent networking opportunities and encourages great teamwork and entrepreneurship. It’s also a brilliant way for businesses to meet their corporate social responsibility.

“I’m genuinely excited to see who comes out on top this year. And I’m delighted that Towergate Risk Solutions have generously got behind us again.”

The overall winner of the Challenge will be announced at the end of September, with prizes given out for ‘the most innovative idea’ and ‘outstanding teamwork’.
