Damian and his friends are taking on this challenge in May 2015 to raise money for Help for Heroes and Wednesdays 4 Women, a local group that provides a meeting place for women with very young children in Haverhill.
As you may know, Help for Heroes is a National charity that gives practical direct support to our current wounded. The Charity believes that any Serviceman or woman who suffers life changing injuries in the line of duty deserves the very best support for life.
Wednesday 4 Women meets from 9.30am to 11.30am every Wednesday in term time at the Leiston Community Centre, in Leiston Way, off Greenfields Way and runs a free crèche for children aged from six months to five years.

Damian says “I am hoping to raise £4000 plus and split the sponsorship money between the two charities.”
Damian is looking for sponsors to come forward to help out in this great event for these two great causes Wednesday 4 Women and Help for Heroes.
Damian has already contacted 25 out of the 92 football clubs and has had 13 replies, saying they would welcome us pitch side for photos.
