What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than a workout with your loved one...ok maybe it’s not the best way but this workout is a great way to burn off those extra calories you may take in during your valentine’s dinner and even if you don’t you can still use it to get into shape and burn away fat.
This workout uses supersets and very short rest periods which promote lactic acid to accumulate inyour muscles, in turn causing your body to secrete more growth hormone, now growth hormone is a natural fat burner so the higher your growth hormone levels, the greater your levels of fat loss.
So here is my valentine’s gift to you, try performing this workout 3-4 times per week for the next 4weeks coupled with a balanced diet and you will see a difference!
A1 – Press Ups – 4sets x 15-20repsA2 – Squats – 4sets x 15-20reps
B1 – Renegade Row – 4sets x 15-20repsB2 – Lunges – 4sets x 15-20reps
C1 – Chair Dips – 4sets x 15-20repsC2 – Jump Squats – 4sets x 15-20reps
*A1 & A2, B1 & B2, C1 & C2 Indicate a Superset. This means perform the set amount of reps on A1, then immediately perform A2, rest 30 seconds, go back toA1 and continue this sequence until all sets are completed.
If you can’t perform the required reps perform as many as you can until failure, and if you can perform more than the required amount try increasing the intensity by adding a weight or increasing the reps until you reach failure.
