Six dedicated employees at the store recently came together at an awards evening to mark their achievements.

The long-serving team includes Collette Mechem (25 years), Julie Chammings (25 years), Chris Goldsbrough (25 years), Jeremy Creed (10 years), Lauren Judge (10 years) and Cassie Turville (5 years).

Store partner Sarah Burchett said she was very proud of the team.

‘We’re always delighted to celebrate the long service of our colleagues,' she says. 'Collette, Julie, Chris, Jeremy, Lauren and Cassie are an asset to the team and their commitment to Specsavers and our customers is certainly reflected in their combined years of service.

‘Congratulations to them all.’
