Decent standard hotel with a good range of facilities which always helps when the weather isn't great. It's in a good location between St Peter Port and the airport. The swimming pool is perfect for families and those who want to get some lengths in. The staff are friendly, attentive and well informed about the area.

Stayed here for 8 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a family room with patio doors leading onto a terrace overlooking the lake - lovely ! Beds were the most comfortable we have experienced in a hotel, even my 10yr old commented, and so we slept soundly (although air conditioning would have been a bonus). Tea and coffee supplies, along with bathroom toiletries were good quality and replenished daily. Could have done with a bit more storage for the 3 of us - enough hanging space but maybe some shelves in the wardrobe would be an idea. Still would choose this room again.
Thought the hotel was very family friendly as well as being of a high standard. The staff were very professional and every member of staff we came across was very polite and friendly. We were impressed with the breakfast choices in the beautiful restaurant and enjoyed some banter with Andrei and Kirsten who were around most mornings to look after us as well as the other staff who welcomed us and led us to our table. We also made use of the Terrace bar for our evening meal a few times and found the food and service very good. There was a disturbance in the early hours of our last morning when I awoke with a fright hearing loud banging on a neighbouring bedroom door, I thought it was a fire or something but it seemed to be a domestic and there was quite a commotion, but the staff member trying to drag the offender away was very controlled and handled the situation well though it did go on a while. I thought there might have been something said to the neighbouring bedroom guests the next day but there was no mention.
We were very happy with St Pierre Park and would come back again. We were stuck in Jersey overnight after a day trip, when the flight was cancelled, and so were most upset that we missed out on a night and day in our lovely Guernsey hotel.

This is a goid hotel, well located betwixt tge airport and St Peter Port. It also has good facilities inckuding a golf compkex. It was acquired by Hand Picked Hotels; since the acquisition, not much has changed! The toiletries are better but on the downside the sound proofing between the rooms needs improving along with the duvets / bed linen. Not at all bad but could be so much better!

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and good facilities. Convenient location for St Peter Port and the rest of the island. My husband swam in the pool every day and took a golf lesson. Room was clean and comfortable. Small balcony useful as I am a smoker! Lovely comfy bed.

We had a one night stay during a business trip and looked for 4 star hotels in and around St Peter Port, we booked this as it had a golf course that we could hire clubs/shoes during our stay. It is a taxi ride from the town but only cost £6 each way and taxi's were plentiful. Room was clean and had everything a 4 star should have, it is an old hotel but well looked after. We used the swimming pool and sauna very good but if you are a couple the saunas are in the changing room so they are segregated, bit odd? We didn't eat in so can't comment on the food but breakfast had a great choice and service was good. We didn't play golf in the end as it poured down but did have a knock on the driving range. Would stay again.

Only stayed for one night on a business trip. Arrived late, left early. Can't fault it at all. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean. Too late for dinner. Too early for breakfast. Taxi arrived on time to head back to the airport. Would stay there again.

Returned to St Pierre Park for a second time and it definately didn't disappoint, rooms as previously were extremely clean, spacious and light,we had the added bonus of a garden view balcony which was lovely, adjoining bedroom for our children was also extremely clean, perfect size for the two of them!

Great selection of food at breakfast with either help yourself buffet style or selected foods on the menu kippers, poached eggs and homemade American pancakes with maple syrup (lovely)

We ate in the Terrace Bar most evenings as it has more of a relaxed feel and the service we received was brilliant,Sebastian in particular provided us with excellent service and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble (especially when dealing with a fussy 5yr old dinner requests!)

All the staff here are welcoming, friendly and helpful, can't wait to stay again.

This hotel is set in very beautiful grounds, with a lake and lovely gardens. We arrived early afternoon, and was greeted by very pleasant reception staff who booked us in very efficiently, and pass us over to the concierge, who took our cases and us to our room and showed us the facilities. We had a very clean and bright good sized room, with very comfortable beds (two good sized singles set together to make a superking size. The bedding was exceptionally soft cotton we slept very well there.

The restaurant served excellent food, and the breakfasts were amazing.

The Spa, was clean and very adaquate, the swimming pool was a good size, but it was a little crowded when I was there, but I am sure that was down to my timing. There was a sauna and steam room and good changing and showering facilities.

Just across the road from the main entrance is a big Waitrose supermarket, for all your needs, and wherever you are in Guernsey, you will be near a beach, shops or entertainment.

Without any doubt I will stay there again without any hesitation.

This report might be useful if brought to the attention of the recently appointed marketing and Sales Manager for Handpicked Hotels, Suzanne Kirk, who has responsibility for the 3 hotels on the island, of which St Pierre is one of them!

Firstly, the Good ... The spa and pool were really lovely, set in delightful gardens and all the staff were all friendly and helpful. The central location of the hotel is also a positive. Nice rooms, a bit dated but lovely big super comfy beds, pillows and duvets.

The Bad ... No air con in the rooms resulting in the need to leave the patio door open at night to keep the room cool, not good if you are on the car park/entrance side can be noisy, bedroom walls also quite thin as we could overhear normal conversations in adjacent rooms. Bit of investment in air con would be good in bedrooms especially as it was in other areas of the hotel. No fridge or security safe in room, a safe is available free behind reception but a bit tedious for staff and guests when busy. Also consider getting some soft closers on all the bedroom doors to prevent being disturbed from banging doors at all hours of the night. Very expensive drinks and food in the restaurant, meals better in the bar. This hotel prides itself on trying to reduce its carbon footprint so why are the rooms being made up with fresh towels everyday even when asked not to? At check out we were not asked if we had enjoyed our stay, missed opportunity for feedback there!

The Downright Ugly .... Stag parties...no, no, no!!!

My husband and I stayed between 5th and 9th August 2015, Overall our stay was ok but this hotel could be great with a little work!

Myself and my family recently spent a week at this hotel service, spa facilities and cleanliness all good my only complaints were although the breakfasts were good it took them a long time to replenish them.i also thought our room was too small for the 3 of us and for £1200 a week in a hotel u would like to think your room would be spacious, that's really the only thing that would put me off booking this hotel again, because that was not the room I had agreed on the phone when booking

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island.
My room was spacious and clean.
The pool area is even nicer in reality than the pictures and gym is adequate.
I enjoyed my evening meal, with food quality and service getting top marks.

The position is fine - 25 minutes walk into St Peter Port but taxi ride of only around £5-6. The spa facilities are good and the pool size is reasonable for a hotel. The bedrooms need some decoration as they feel a bit shabby but the rooms are very clean and facilities are fine (although check what your room should contain or the inclusions within your deal and make sure these are all included). The staff are friendly and - some reception staff and restaurant staff are very good but I would say that the customer care culture of staff generally needs improving so service is good consistently not a nice surprise when it happens. We were on a deal where dinner was included so ate in the main restaurant 4 nights - I would say food quality is generally very good. The bar food was good but a little inconsistent but generally good. My main issue with the hotel was around their billing and issue management. We were overcharged by £1,200 prior to our visit and then during our visit our dining room bills were wrongly calculated and we could have paid £113 more than we actually spent. I suspect ours can't be an isolated case of this so if you stay please check your bills thoroughly. We had an issue with rowdy inappropriate guests next door and the staff were very slow to resolve this which resulted in my children moving rooms at midnight. The hotel were nice about it all but we (and other guests) felt that the culprits were allowed to get away with the issue where wee had the inconvenience of a disturbed night, having to pack our room up, move rooms etc. in the end we were given a refund for the room rate for the night but to me this was not the point - the noise should, have been resolved more quickly so people didn't have to move rooms etc.

The billing issues and the incident and how it was handled coloured our view of the hotel along with it needing some redecoration. I felt it was expensive against the general and overall experience offered. Highlights are the spa and health facilities, the golf facilities and the fact that it's on Guernsey!

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting family (who were having building works done)

The receptionists were helpful and charming. As were the servers at breakfast and the room service waiter (albeit we had to chase up room service after 40 minutes to discover they hadn't taken our room number down properly and so had to wait for us to call)

Breakfast was amazing. Full English buffet style lots of choice with lovely soft scrambled eggs. Even had gluten free cereals and toast. We also had a family meal from the carvery on the Sunday which was very good-seafood and salad to start, very well roasted meat and veg and generous selection of desserts

I liked the bar and the view over the lake as well as the board games. I only wish we could have managed to get massages on the Sunday but they were fully booked

Our room had a massive bed, lots of pillows and a lovely balcony.

Now for the slight negatives. We did book a double room online and got a good deal-which is likely why we got a dated room. There were large pink marks in the bath (wear and tear) and the wooden furniture was scuffed especially the wardrobe. Despite there being 2 of us we only had one bath robe-we asked for a second one after the first night but it never arrived. The teabags used on the first night were not restocked in the room nor were the toiletries unlike most 4 star hotels. A bit strangely we left half drunk beer and cider glasses by the tea tray so they could be easily cleared away-but these were still there after the room was cleared.

I think if we had paid for a more expensive room these niggles wouldn't have happened so I'd recommend upgrading if you can. I do hope the hotel upgrades some things though to prevent what is a lovely hotel looking shabby (carpet in the lift for example)

Overall a nice stay which could easily have been perfect

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 night break with our 9 year old daughter. We all said how comfortable the beds are and how well we all slept. Breakfast we very nice and we sat overlooking the lake and fountain. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and willing to help. Easy hotel to find with lots of parking.

We asked for a lake view which there was an extra charge. The view was over the lake with a balcony, which was very small but handy to have, as we could open the sliding doors.
The bed was very comfortable, I am thinking it was a king! I had so much space..... There was no noise and sleep was never disturbed.
Breakfast was continental, so good.
Our first night we had a snack in the bar the terrance restaurant was good.
Overall an exceptional stay, left my mobile and charges which were posted back to me in the UK at cost but very good service.

Stayed for 5 nights with my husband and 7 year old daughter. Very friendly staff and waiter at breakfast went out of his way to provide my daughter with hot chocolate she wanted when they had run out. We stayed in a room on the ground floor overlooking the kids play area, the beds are huge and very comfortable. We ate in the bar area one evening, food reasonable. Husband said breakfast was the best he'd had, lots of choice and not a one as same standard every morning. Room service very quick. Pool in spa area nice and warm. There was a function on one evening and a note was pushed under the door to tell us the noise may disturb us but we never heard a thing. Can't wait for next year will definitely be back.

We booked this hotel for a 3 night B&B break. When we dropped our luggage off in the AM, the room wasn't ready, which wasn't a problem. The receptionist was over-run, dealing with a succession of phone calls, but our luggage was stored and later delivered to our room, which was at the front of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the grounds & lake were lovely. The breakfast chaoice was huge and the breakfast food was lovely (soft scrambled egg - yipee). The minor complaint was that the food wasn't replenished very quickly on the Sunday AM

There are few places where you can experience a business trip which turns out to recharge your batteries. Here is one of those places.

The hotel is comfortable and everything is designed to help you to relax. The bed and pillows divine, staff are friendly and welcoming and you can stroll to the beach in 30 minutes or less. Great to watch the sun set over the Bay.

As usual the breakfast sets you up for the day. I love staying here when I am in Guernsey on business and recommend it to anyone.

A recent stay on business and overall a very pleasant experience at a very conveniently located hotel close to the island capital.

The good: Warm welcome. Breakfast are excellent with perfect service, worthy of a hotel of this size. No complaints about the cleanliness of the premises and rooms. Beautiful grounds, and facilities such as the swimming pool and jacuzzi. A gym is also available.

Downside: None

Conclusion: a very nice hotel to stay in Guernsey; would recommend.

This is a very imposing hotel set in some nice grounds, I would guess very popular for weddings. Lots of couples and families and some business travellers like myself. The rooms are a decent size, well furnished and comfortable with up to date and good quality bathroom furniture. I ate in the bar both nights, the food was OK although the complimentary wasabi peas were very nice! Breakfast is served buffet style. I would stay here again although I might look for somewhere else to eat.

My room was fabulous, but was on the ground floor with a patio door for ventilation , as I like to sleep with the window open, I wasn't happy about doing that with a patio door, with no fuss at all, reception moved me up to 2nd floor at no extra charge. I ate in the bar that evening and the food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast, although self service offered plenty of choice and good quality-will be going back on my next business trip. Well done all at the hotel.x

Two night business stay. Gorgeous location with stunning views.

Room was lovely but starting to look tired. Lovely little patio, with table and chairs, which gave me access to walk around the lower level outside and look over the fountain.

Had one meal at the restaurant but unfortunately due to a problem somewhere between us ordering and the kitchen receiving the order, it took 90mins to get my meal!

Couple of mishaps with reception - wake up call not received, colleague's room service order was incorrect.

Nice hotel, would stay again, but has potential to be so much more.

Good food and friendly staff. Asked to change room as working nights and room was close to school so may have been a little noisy. They changed my room to quieter part of hotel. All rooms have a balcony.

The three rooms I stayed in all had king size beds.

Little out from capital, but only about 20min walk or 5 min bus ride (for 1 Euro)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at St Pierre Park Hotel - the staff were fantastic and the food was lovely. The one downside was the noise from the road and the car park especially late at night when guests are leaving - I suggest you request a room facing the other way we will never again stay in the room we were allocated - room 255 - as we never had one night where our sleep was not interrupted by the racket - this was a shame as the hotel on a whole is fantastic. TV selection very, very poor

I booked the Alderney suite for a 4 night break nearly a year ago for our 23rd wedding anniversary, so glad I did, the suite itself was an amazing space, split into a lounge and bedroom area with en-suite bathroom facilities, side balcony, and large main balcony consisting of hot tub, sun loungers and garden furniture, all very well looked after and clean. when entering our room, we was welcomed with a bottle of champagne, basket of fruit, and little plate of chocolates, very nice touch, we also had to wait after our due 2.00pm check in time, (due to previous guests, checking out a little late), we were still in our room by 2.30, and was asked by the manager (I think), if he could by way of apologising a bottle of wine, again very nice touch (probably would have declined if we realised we already had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room :), all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, special thanks to Kirsten or Kristen (sorry, if I got name wrong) on reception who was very professional and fun with it, the concierge guy (Scottish, sorry did not get name) again was very friendly and helpful, as well as all the bar staff, we ate in the bar just the once, enjoyed our meals (although wifes Ribeye was a little tough), but was immediately removed from the bill, the gardens and lake area was nice and quiet to have a stroll around. We did not eat in the main restaurant as we were out most of time and ate lunches out. The hotel is close to bus stops to venture around the Island, all for £1 per journey , we were going to hire a car after a couple of days but did not feel this was necessary. all in all a lovely relaxing break, just what we were after, so thank you to all the staff who helped make this possible, defo recommend to anyone to visit here
