Had a very lovely stay here with my two girls - the hotel is fantastic , very clean, friendly staff, lovely rooms, comfy beds. Spa and swimming pool is really nice and you can use the pool with children at certain times of the day . The grounds are well kept and lovely too .
The best part for us was undoubtedly the breakfasts, a huge choice of fruits and cereals, continental breads cheeses etc and amazing fryups - the scrambled egg was the best and even my daughter ate the black pudding !!!
Our only downside was that a family with a baby stayed in the room next to ours from our second night there so we had two very sleepless nights as it sounded as though they were in our room - we could actually hear every word the man said . We did phone reception I asked if they had any ear plugs as my littlest couldn't sleep through the noise but they said no and no other suggestions were made . It was a real shame for us but as for the hotel itself - it was lovely !

The hotel is about a 25 minute from the town centre (steep hill) making it much quieter than many hotels. It is very spacious and, although the rooms and lounge area are a bit dated, it is all very clean and comfortable.

The best of the hotel is the staff and nothing is too much trouble. The spa has recently been seriously refurbished and is superb for the gym and pool.

The breakfast is one of the best in any hotel we have stayed in but I would suggest elsewhere for dinner than the lounge. It is nice food but with so much better on offer in St Peter Port, I would suggest there instead.

Nice place to stay for one or two nights only. Good they closed their restaurant on the ground floor as the quality of food served was shocking. They now have only one restaurant located on the lower ground floor which is much better and of a professional nature.
Several members of staff manning the spa area were observed not customer friendly as there appeared to be favouritism between guests and regular out side visitors and the outside visitors got the benefits. Not acceptable in my opinion.
Training of some bar staff would be a good idea as one or two staff members were unable to pull a quality pint of beer.
Angela and the Spanish guy on reception were impressive and found very professional but the rest if the staff on reception I thought improvements are needed in customer relations.

Although this hotel is a fair distance from the town, the buses (great value at £1 per trip) pass every few minutes. The staff here are marvellous, very helpful and pleasant. Rooms pristine, really comfy beds (we slept like logs) plenty of pillows and a spotless bathroom with fluffy towels. Patio style doors onto your own balcony mean that even if your room is a bit too warm you can have fresh air. Only small downside was we were woken by extractor fans in the mornings (probably unavoidable) and once by staff in the office next door. Breakfast choice very good, large hot and cold buffet to choose from, loved the eggs florentine. Four star for good reason.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. Nothing was ever to much.

Ever Breakfast we were greeted by a lovely gentleman that went above and beyond. We even saw him nip to a nearby shop for one guests request for peanut butter.

He wasn't the only person that made our stay.

Free tennis and facilities for our kids was great.

The staff are this hotels best asset.

We will be back.

This is a large hotel for Guernsey and feels more corporate than leisure but has many facilities including indoor pool and gym. Rooms are all good.
Lots of free parking.
There are buses into town from the main road outside the hotel and it is only about a twenty minute walk.
Very large room for buffet breakfast.

The wife won a morning of being pampered at the spa which enjoyed, and was impressed with the new setup in the Spa / Gym area.
We then went to The Pavillion for a lunch, hers was all in the voucher she had won, then menu she had to choose from was different to the one I was supplied with when I arrived, however both meals were excellent and it was a shame that we were only two eating. However when we left several others had come down.
But a place as good as this should be buzzing, food excellent service excellent could not fault anything.

We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff our efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The facilities are great and there is a real feel of a touch of class. The gym, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub are superb. The showers need a special mention. From the ones in the room, to the ones in the changing rooms. They are all great. Some parts of the hotel are a little tired and could do with a spruce up. But the overall effect is a nice and relaxing place to stay.

This is the perfect hotel whether you are a single traveller, honeymooners or for a visit by an extended family.

The accommodation is excellent, the facilities enable you to be as lazy or as active as you want.

The staff are attentive and want you to enjoy your stay.

The food offers a wide variety to meet all the families tastes.

Had a wonderful 5 day stay here. My parents spent their honeymoon in Guernsey 54 years ago and I took them back for their birthdays and my hubby's birthday - we had a fabulous time.

The staff at the hotel are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. The food in both the bar and the restaurant is good, as is the service.

The spa and the pool are fabulous - the pool gets busy mid morning and mid afternoon. There is a lovely sun terrace to sit out on overlooking the pond and fountain; it also has a nice hot tub. In the pool area there is both a sauna and a steam room.

We hired a car for our stay and there is ample parking at the hotel. Parking in the island is free too.

The rooms are lovely, my only criticism would be that they are not well soundproofed. We could hear the people next door really clearly; this may be because it was a room that has an adjoining door. If I go back to Guernsey I would stay at this hotel but would ask for a room without an adjoining door. The noise issue could do to be sorted out.

The provisions in the room are good and tea/coffee/biscuits are replenished twice daily. The toiletries provided were lovely.

I stayed in this hotel with a group and all of us were very satisfied with our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you! The room and bathroom were large. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony comfortable for one person. This depends on the room and number of occupants. Other balconies were very spacious. The food was absolutely amazing and breakfast caters to every tastebud, which is why I find it hard to understand some of the other reviews. The chefs deserve a Michelin star. The grounds are excellently maintained and the spa facility and pool area were lovely. Loved the ducks :-) There is a supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance and downtown can be reached quickly by bus.
In summary I can highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed at this Hotel many times over the last 20 years or so and have always enjoyed our stay despite the few spells of bad weather, there being plenty of things to do at this Hotel. The staff are very well versed in looking after guests and have the time to have a chat now and again. The rooms are most comfortable and well serviced each day by excellent housekeeping staff.
We usually opt for rooms with either garden or lake views these also face Southerly direction.
Meals are very good either in the bar or Dining room with ample choice menus.
Bathing and health care facilities are excellent.

Chose this hotel for a week's holiday based on information from a booking web site. We were very impressed with the hotel - friendly staff, clean and well appointed bedroom and excellent food. One minor complaint though with breakfast. Toast, which is provided to you, was at best warm and on a couple of occasions I had to ask a member of staff to chase up my poached eggs and omelette as they seemed to be taking ages to be served.

However don't let this put you off staying at the St Pierre Park. It really is worth visiting especially if you want to relax in very pleasant surroundings.

Just returned from our third annual stay and, as before, we couldn't fault it. The staff were as professional, helpful and polite as ever without ever being 'in your face' all the time. Parking the car and checking in was quick and easy. Our room, with a spacious balcony, was extremely comfortable and well appointed and the facilities available to the guests were excellent. The breakfast menu was extensive and well cooked and staff always on hand if needed. As previously, my only regret was having to check out as it is so relaxing. I hasten to add that I have no connection with this hotel other than as a paying guest but as my partner, Christine, will confirm, I would happily live here given the chance. 👍😎 Really lovely hotel.

The hotel is very nice, comfortable beds with lots of pillows, big bathroom. The hotel is little bit dated but still beautiful place.
There is small gym on the ground floor which was difficult to find.
The food is nice, we had business dinner there.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very comfortable small suite but lack of A /C made it a bit stuffy. Doors opened onto terrace overlooking gardens but stagnant water that failed to drain away a problem. Privacy also a problem as other guests could walk past open French windows. Would not have taken much to resolve.
Restaurant pretentious and too full of itself. Service very slow and inattentive. Waiter insisted wine was cold enough, and what are Confit duck pastilles? They are duck spring rolls but apparently as they have a Rosette they can call them what they like. As it was they were over cooked and dry. Sea bass fillets very small and also over cooked. Deserts good. Altogether at £50 per head with wine very disappointing.

Generally needs a lot more attention to detail to warrant prices. On a positive note the best hotel swimming pool I have visited.

This hotel has everything for everyone. We stayed here to join a party and we were looked after very well. The staff are all very polite and eager to please. We could not fault anyone in any way. The rooms are clean and I asked for a quiet one which I got. There is a lovely indoor swimming pool and sauna. There is also a health and beauty place. If you like to stay in a quite large family hotel this is the place. It is on a bus route and has a Waitrose round the corner.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights whilst attending a conference. We stayed in room 325. Overall it is a good hotel.

Good points - the service in the bar is excellent- the bar staff are professional, the drinks and snacks are good. The spa, pool and fitness facilities are first class - better than most hotels. The decking area with views of the lake is an ideal place to relax. Our room had a balcony / seating area. The breakfast is good.

Other points - the decor in our room was dated - it looks as if it has been refurbished, if it has they should have removed the wooden balustrade by the door. There was some staining on the bathroom ceiling and one of the light bulbs needed to be replaced. The sandwiches which we were served during a working lunch were incredibly dull. Our room did not have A/C.

Worst point - my wife paid £35 for a manicure which only lasted a few hours. She didn't complain other than to me! I noted this on the feedback email that the hotel sent me after our stay. I received a good email from the acting general manager informing me that the spa staff would contact me separately to follow this up - I'm still waiting!

Other then the slip up with the manicure and worse the lack of follows up - it was a good experience.

My friend and I stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. There was a wedding there this weekend and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were seen to! The spa facilities are great - sauna, steam, and an enormous pool. Plus Su beds aplenty and an outdoor jacuzzi.

We had a fabulous weekend there and would really recommend it. It is about a mile and a half from the town centre but we really enjoyed the walk.

we have just had a great week end here

It is a largish hotel and slightly impersonal for that, and as with many larger venues had external events both afternoons and evening we were there which did add to teh noise levels a bit

However we were moved after one night from out original noisy room, with a big smile and nothing is too much trouble

However top floor rooms do have balconies, but they are tiny, adn original design flaw, and take 1 chair and 1 table, which we thought was quite funny

The spa was lovely and lying in teh sun reading my book as great

location wise, the bus stop is seconds away and if you need it waitrose is opposite.

We paid £10 for a taxi from teh airport and £10 taxi from st peters port late at night. The buses are £1 per ticket per trip, so we got used to using them

WE want to go back, but might try a different hotel and try some where smaller and more homely
but would defiantly recommend

Previously a Guernsey resident now have returned to the rock this weekend for a friends wedding and stayed 2 nights here. The hotel was the pride of Guernsey back in the day, now it's a smart hotel that needs an overhaul, we had a classic double room with little balcony overlooking the car park. It's clean mostly modern but still has a key to open the room door, dated in this day and age also it has no aircon this is a huge let down. Beds comfortable sheets clean and fresh shower in the bath. Not helpful if you are less able bodied. Wifi throughout. Health suite available

We only dined for the wedding reception so can't comment on other meals but would warn that the bar prices are exorbitant £20 for two large glasses of wine !!! The staff are friendly and as most common in Guernsey not local

This hotel is known locally for corporate seminars and company Christmas parties these will always take preference over guests so expect residents bar and meals to be relocated

If you're there for business it's fine, it's not 5 star it's guernsey's 5 crown rating so don't compare or expect London or even Jersey metro city style hotel
If you're going for leisure to Guernsey. Unless it's on a special package look at other hotels.

Just got back from a most enjoyable stay at this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay there as comfortable as positive. From the waitresses in the breakfast room to the room cleaning staff. A big thank you to Andrew (breakfast) & Caterina (room cleaner) for making our stay enjoyable.
The whole hotel was well run everyone was very friendly & always smiled a greeting. The rooms were were kept very clean as was the bathroom .which in my view is very important. A kettĺe, tea & coffee was provided & topped up every day. There's a table & two chairs on a balcony too should you want to sit outside. We would love to come again.

We come to Guernsey twice a year. We have family here but we love to stay in Hotels.

We came for Lunch at the St. Pierre on our last visit and decided to give it a whirl this time.

In our opinion it is a Corporate Hotel. Great for Business Travellers and Conferences.

As frequent visitors to Guernsey and frequent guests of 5 star Hotels, I think we'd say :

It's not what we would class as 5-star. It lacks the finesse of other 5-star Hotels.

The staff are generally friendly enough. Although the Spa staff have a practiced air of snobbery and disdain.

The Hair Salon is not open at the weekend.

Food service finishes at 10pm. The Room Service Menu continues for a short time after 10pm but is limited to Sandwiches.

We returned after a dreadful meal at 10:15pm hoping for Desserts and Digestifs - only to be disappointed. We could have the drinks but not the Pudding. I'm not sure how hard it is to scoop some Guernsey Ice Cream into a Bowl?

It's pleasant. It's clean. It's Corporate. The Spa is lovely.

We look forward to returning to the Fermain Valley Hotel next visit.

Spent Thursday to Sunday at this wonderful hotel in May .
The hotel was first class with a restaurant on the lower level with decking over looking the grounds and lake ,and on the upper floor a bar with the same views serving bar meals lunch and evening ,afternoon tea plus morning tea and coffee.
so something for all.
The Spa with treatments, swimming pool and out door spa and indoor sauna over looking the gardens.
Such a relaxing time and staff were very welcoming .

We have recently stayed at this lovely resort in Rohais, Guernsey, close to St Peter Port.

Standards are high in all areas of the hotel - in particular, the leisure facilities - and especially the spa & swimming pool. If your stay coincides with good weather, as it did with us, the outdoor facilities provide comfort and lovely views over the lake and gardens.

We stayed on a room & breakfast deal - a good selection of breakfast items are available on a self serve basis, but there are other a la carte items that can be ordered from and served by a generally friendly, caring and attentive restaurant team. We did however briefly visit the main restaurant where dinner was served - and it looked very nice. It was very busy too, which speaks for itself.

The bar is impressive with a lovely terrace looking out towards the lake.

Our bedroom and bathroom were excellent, very clean and well furnished. We were lucky to have a small balcony that overlooked the gardens and lake on floor 4.The room also contained a good sized fridge,

The location is, for those who like a stroll, around 45 minutes walk from the busy and beautiful waterfront and harbour. Its downhill most of the way, but I would recommend you get one of the very regular buses back to Rohais which takes around 10 - 15 minutes. The stops are very close to the hotel (near Waitrose)

For the sporting type, apart from the swimming, there are some lovely tennis courts and a proper 9 hole golf course. You can hire sporting equipment if needed.

There is a large car park at the front and side of the hotel.

The taxi trip to and from the airport takes around 15-20 minutes and cost us £10 per trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at the St Pierre Park, and look forward to returning in the future.
