I love the atmophere and quality of Thai food at Baan Thai. Very welcoming staff and helpful in deciding what to eat from their extensive menu. I would say this is the best Thai restaurant on the island. I was also pleased to hear they can do takeaway too.

I never used to like Thai food very much until we went to Baan Thai! The food is fabulous, wonderful fresh flavours that come through the spice without killing my taste buds! The service is great and Stu and Tong are always happy to go through the dishes with you. One fab evening Tong even showed us the differences in some of the raw ingredients she uses. A cracking little Restaurant full of personality that we love to eat in and take out from! Please try it! Sarah

We would thoroughly recommend the Baan Thai restaurant after our recent visit. We booked for Mothers day lunch and had a lovely time - the staff were friendly, and we were well looked after. The meal was superb, made with lovely fresh ingredients - definitely the best Thai food I have tasted in Guernsey! Looking forward to our next visit!.

We have just had an amazing meal here to celebrate my birthday. We booked up in advance for 20 of us to go and even got to choose our own menu! The food was sensational and we were all so impressed with the flavours and great atmosphere. They were so helpful and even closed the ddors for the night so we could relax and enjoy ourselves fully. Really recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to go back. Thank you.

Four of us ate at the Baan Thai on two cosecutive nights the 11th & 12th Sept. The food was excellent, the service was prompt, warm and friendly. A delightful experience which once sampled we had to go again.

We called the restuarant prior to arriving to order some food we had eaten in Thailand which wasnʼt on the menu. The chef needed to buy ingredients specifically to make this dish which when it arrived was as good as the last time I had eaten it (in Chang Mai).
The atmosphere is always relaxed and the staff are really friendly - the chef has even found time to leave the busy kitchen to check that we were happy with the food.
The drink is all very reasonably priced with Thai beer and Thai whisky both on the menu.
It makes a nice change to have somewhere I can go in Guernsey for great Thai food and beer at a reasonable price.

This has always been a great local venue for authentic Thai food and we were a little concerned when we heard the restaurant had changed hands...however the food is even better and the menu is full of original and authentic Thai dishes that are cooked to perfection. If you like REAL Thai food then this is the place of you. Thanks to Kuhn for a great evening, weʼll be back very soon.
