Don’t Miss…. Heritage Open Days in Farnham 2017  Each year during September buildings of every age, style and function celebrate their heritage and culture, offering free access, even if they are usually closed to the public or charge for admission. This year Heritage Open Days are being held  in Farnham between Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th September. 

Friday 1 September

Xplorer trails - Farnham Park  Xplorer is a family friendly navigation challenge for pre-school and primary school aged children and it’s free!

Saturday 2 September

Maltings Monthly Market  Find the best independent craftspeople, emerging designer makers, food producers and traders in the South East.

Rural Life Vintage Revival On Saturday and Sunday The Rural Life Centre is hosting something a little different with music, dancing tuition, stalls with vintage miscellanea on sale, retro cinema, makeovers, photography, hot rods and even a 'Vintage Pooches' dog fancy dress competition with a prize for the most stylish retro pooch.

Sunday 3 September

Phyllis Tuckwell Plant Sale  Find a large variety of plants and shrubs for sale at bargain prices at the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

Farnham Music in the Meadow   The last event of the summer, Music in the Meadow treats us to live music from Friary Guildford Brass Band in Gostrey Meadow from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. Afternoon tea and homemade cake will be available from charity of the week, Arthritis UK.

Monday 4 September

Introduction to Weaving  Book a range of creative workshops with Jo Aylwin Studio and Gallery.

Thursday 7 September

Heritage Open Day at Caffe Piccolo  Although the age of the Caffe Piccolo building is uncertain, it is known to have once been a cooper’s shop selling barrels, a pub called The Mitre and now a wonderful Italian restaurant. Find out more about the history of this extraordinary building with a free guided tour.

Farnham Business Connections coffee morning  Held monthly at The Botanist, you are invited to join local businesses for informal networking from 10.00am - 11.30am. Enjoy a coffee and pastry and make new business connections.

Boogaloo Promotions present Aynsley Lister Solo  This is a rare chance to see stunning guitarist, singer and songwriter Aynsley Lister up close and personal during a great evening of blues at Farnham Maltings.

Saturday 9 September

Farnham Repair Café  If you have repair skills or want something fixed pop along to the United Reform Church (URC) in central Farnham.

Tuesday 12 September

Music while you Munch  Enjoy a lunchtime organ recital St Andrew’s Parish Church. Everyone is welcome and entrance is free!

Wednesday 13 September

Stand-Up Comedy Club: Autumn 2017  Catch up-and-coming comedy talent at Farnham Maltings.

Thursday 14 September

Over 60's Quiz and Music Afternoon  Quiz and music from popular musicals with afternoon tea at the Farnham Vineyard centre. Cost is £5 per person, tickets to be booked in advance with Farnham ASSIST.

Boogaloo Promotions present Zoe Schwarz Blue Commotion  Another fabulous night of blues music at Farnham Maltings.

Farnham Business Connections Networking Events  If you are a business based near the borders of Surrey and Hampshire and looking to make more connections, you are invited to lunchtime networking at Caffe Piccolo. Enjoy a two course lunch and meet worthwhile contacts at these friendly, informal meetings.
