About us 2019   Polegate Scarecrows 2019 are supporting SERV SUSSEX and St Wilfrid’s Hospice and we have been kindly sponsored by the Windsor Club.   The Polegate Scarecrow Festival 2019 will run between Saturday 13th July and Saturday 27th July   Come and join us at Polegate Town Council, High Street for our first Summer Fun Day event on Saturday 20th July from 12pm. Stalls from local businesses and groups, performances by Eastbourne Rock Choir, have a photo on a Blood Bike, train rides and sand art available for the kids! Supported by Polegate Residents’ Association. The Windsor Club are at the Polegate Community Centre on 54 Windsor Way, Polegate they are open 7 days a week from 11am.   The Windsor Club say, “If you’re interested in joining the club, why not come along and savour our beer and entertainment”. You can also find The Windsor Club on Facebook, @TheWindsorPolegate   SERV SUSSEX is a volunteer run, publicly funded charity who transport urgent and emergency blood & blood products, human donor breast milk, medication and medical equipment to Sussex hospitals. Free of charge to the NHS. Volunteers are on call 365 nights a year from 7pm to 6am, as well as 24 hour bank holiday and weekend cover. This includes Christmas day and New years day.   St Wilfrid’s Hospice Say -“Our mission is reaching out to transform end of life care for the people of Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and all the points in between. We provide specialist care for people with any progressive, advanced life-limiting illness. Referrals are made by the patient’s GP or other healthcare professionals and care is delivered by a team that includes consultants in palliative medicine, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, counsellors and social workers.”
