some stunning tee shots ..elevated greens
some really tough par 3s the course was in emaculate condition
although the lay out can be a little querky at times it adds to the great features of the course
after the golf we had aranged sunday dinner
which was also.very very good
we will definitely be coming back here next year
on our annual golf wekend

If you want one of the best golf courses in England to play I suggest this one. As an 8 handicapper I found this course absolutely beautiful, but if you're like my brother a 22 handicapper who also absolutely adores this course found it almost impossible to walk all the way around because it is so Hilly and has such an amazing change in topography you honestly will not be disappointed but get a buggy.<br><br>If I could play this golf course everyday I would possibly be the happiest man on the planet.

I will never play this course again. Ridiculous layout with balls crossing fairways everywhere and a driving range between two tees with this silly man hitting balls down my fairway only just missing me. To top it all on returning to the club house at 6pm on a sunny evening to find it closed.

I recently booked the function room as a venue for a family occasion. The friendly and helpful staff organised the occasion so well and really made it hassle free. The views from the room are great looking right over the golf course and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the venue for any occasion. Thank you to all the staff.

Don't get me wrong it is a nice golf course and friendly enough, a little clicky but then what golf course isn't? Playing the course was not even mildly challenging but then again i'm not sure it is set up to do so.
They obviously have a good greenskeeper as the course is in good condition.
There is adequate parking and the fees are not particularly expensive.

Having played golf at all the courses in the Eastbourne area. Willingdon is quite outstanding. The course is in great condition and provides an enjoyable challenge to all abilities. The views, clubhouse and staff make for a great day out.

i like to thank rachel and steve for a fantastic lunch we had on mothering sunday.the ambience was great.i cannot say how good the service and the organisation that went into day was, as it was so good.the carvery was second to none ,and it was hot all the way through the meal which was brilliant.it certainly made my 80 year old's mother day special as the staff were so helpful and friendly.definately will be looking again at booking this venue well done all

My husband and I booked the valentines meal. Wow - it was fantastic in all respects. The room was tastefully decorated with a valentines theme, the food was delicious and great value for money, the staff couldn't do enough for you - we will definitely be back for either a Sunday carvery or one of the theme nights. A great evening - thank you.

I have been for Sunday lunch a number of times and i have to say the food is fantastic and the service is of a high standard also great value for what it costs, also as a golfer i have also played the course which is of a high standard well looked after and a challenging course with great views.

I've been to the Carvery 3 times now and each visit has been perfect. Tasted the beef, lamb, pork, gammon ham and turkey all cooked to perfection and sliced thickly.
The roasties are proper and there are always plenty of them. Fantastic choice of vegetables and home made gravy what more could a fella ask for its better than my mothers.
Great value and the staff are excellent, nothing is to much trouble. Golfers you are being spoiled. It is open to the public as well.
Will definitely be returning.

Since Rachel has taken over the catering has improved no end! The meal we had tonight was really good, main course tasty and plentiful. Desert a choice of deserts or cheese and biscuits. Cheese , ripe and varied. A good all round meal. Value for money.
